- This GRINCH CUPCAKE CAKE stole Christmas at my recent Christmas party because it stole party goers attention-it is so cute! Inspired by the book and movie, “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” this cupcake cake was really easy to make. I love this Grinch pull apart cake because you get the nice look of a cake, but the simplicity and easy serving style of cupcakes - a win win!
Things you will need:
• Cupcakes or cake
• Frosting - red, white, green, yellow and black
• Icing tips/nozzles 12, 3, 7
• Icing bags and couplers
• Cake board
• A HUGE SMILE!

How do you flatten the frosting, do you let it sit/chill first then press down
I use a crusting buttercream (see one of my very first videos for the recipe!). Once the icing has "hardened" somewhat, then I am able to sooth it out. Hope this helps! :)
