This place was used for the job corps at one point, I grew up in grafton. This is only a small part of the complex. There is more on the other side of the tracks as well as the main road.
It's got it's history. Very intriguing. I posted a link I found in the comments. Learned some very bizarre things about these places including Worcester State Hospital as well, patients and families and workers committed. I discovered the architect or builder was also committed there which was ironic.
music fits the scene. spooky and eerie! Your video really made me wonder about the place, the history, the people who had to be there, and what happened to them, Thank you!
Hi my grandmother was a patient here and won’t give any information I know she was murdered! But I hope one day I get to know the truth and why she was sent here
I found a forum that documents the people and staff that lived there. I couldn't believe some of the things I read there. Some people worked there and died there (with their kids) almost like they were committed for life. I also read the architect that designed the hospital was also committed there eventually where he died. Very strange time in our history. Fascinating.
Wow she died in a bath tub and look up how the tubs look for punishment they will be put inside of them with only they head out for hours so it had to be murder they won’t give any information to my mother! My grandmother was a nurse so we have no clue how she got out into there. But it’s defiantly a cover up going on and very very strange
Please do not attempt to trespass and go inside. This site is within the fence line of a Federal Job Training program which is adjacent to the old buildings. Please understand there are stict access control rules and 24 hour security and trespassers are prosecuted. Please read about the interesting history but do not attempt to go inside. It will make my life easier, and surely be safer for you. This area is being developed into Village at Grafton Woods which will be a beautiful mixed use development of residential, retail, restaurants, etc. Then go visit :)
@@colleenlanza3122 that fucking sucks. Grafton has a history of tearing down historical buildings with no eye for preservation. Its really annoying that jobcorps took all the land and let the history rot in place barring everyone from entry.
