People of these kind of big city's should go with the bicycle like we do in the Netherlands.
Have you seen the % of cyclists in Netherlands though? Useless stat unless you link it to km traveled.
Johnny Cash I do both, it's safer by motorcycle over 125cc in mid to outer London. central London is way better by bike
You do know London is like 10+ times the size of Amsterdam? and alot of people who are in London dont live there.
The point +Johnny Cash was making is that we should replace cars with bikes as far as possible, just like the Netherlands. Aye I agree it was a lazy remark but I was just trying to get across that obviously there's a higher rate of bicycle accidents than other cities because the Netherlands have a higher cycling rate than other European cities. Dutch are cycling on average 900km per citizen/year as opposed to 368km in Berlin, and 75km in England.
Going back to the original point +Johnny Cash was making: we should replace cars with bikes as far as possible, just like the Netherlands, thus (I assume) reducing the fatality figures for cyclists.
I totally agree with you about space, cycling routes/lanes e.t.c but +Johnny Cash's argument was replacing more cars with bikes, not simply adding more bikes. Obviously it's fanciful but that was the argument I was defending.
Don't see it becoming a reality until governments are forced to build better infrastructure for bikes due to the environmental impact of other vehicles.
ts757arse the govt have dug up half of central London for bike lanes. The annoying thing is there are cyclist who still don't use it. The fatalities in ldn are usually caused by no helmet/earphones in/contesting with hgv on 4 lane junction early morning. I am all for more bikes less cars, but feel if they want road space they should pass road safety test and maybe pay road tax. Not a huge amount but enough to help fund more infrastructure for them
....you're quite right about leaving indicators on - but Maplins sell a 12v bleeper for less than £4 , so I bought 2 and stuck them back to back....but due to wind noise, they still can't be heard over 30 mph. In your case the loud exhaust would make them inaudible !

Yes, I had that indicator problem when I first started riding but now I am pretty good at turning it off.

b) must get a driving license for that beast

I never leave my indicator on. I'm always pushing the cancel button even when I know they're off. Sometimes when I'm stopped at a traffic light to turn left or right I even accidentally stop indicating because I press the cancel button without really thinking about it.
Now reading this I think I may have OCD ...
Hey RJ. If you want close calls, look at what I go through for 40 kms everyday. Loving your work nonetheless.

In heavy traffic nothing will touch the Grom. I fly past larger bikes that just can't filter. This is why sports bikes make great commuters aswell. Just don't leave anything decent out of sight!

Hi Rj! Hope you can help me with this question. I ride a Honda CBR 150. How many kilometers do I need to do before changing my engine oil and filter? I always change my engine oil after 1000 kilometers. Is it too much? Do I need to have move mileage before changing mg engine oil?

I wish i can be guilty about the indicator, but on my tuono (same on my previous shiver) the indicators got a tempo of about 10 seconds. If you're going up that 20 mph it turns off
