Egg yolk color depends on the diet.
Get pasture raised eggs from Whole foods, those fancy 60 cents an egg cartons with a QR code that shows you the coop they came from. Those fancy egg yolks look like a blood orange... and they're delicious.
So maybe the herb adds a grassy taste to the egg?

My father used to make a chicken coop in the area he wanted to grow our produce in for the season. He would put about 10 chickens in and water the ground. 3 weeks before planting time, he would move the chickens to a smaller area. He would work the ground everyday for 2 to 3 weeks and then plant the seeds. We always had fresh produce that was so delicious!! As for the chickens, we had chicken fried, with dumplings, salad, baked and more fried. Sundays were always family dinner.

Makes you wonder what they were fed back in those days before everybody starts spraying their yards and filled with all kinds of chemicals back then they didn't use that kind of thing so everything would have been more natural so I guess that would be one of the most cleanest eggs in a way but I wouldn't want to eat one but it is very interesting about the diet and everything else

Haha that makes me laugh because my dad always used to get turkey manure and spread it throughout the whole back 40 is what we called it which was about 10 acres and have his garden back there every year he'd do it twice a year with the turkey manure he was a veterinarian and then he specialized in Turkey so all those cold breeder toms in this fancy turkeys that you get for Christmas and Thanksgiving my dad most likely inspected every single one of them and I even got a chance to do so that was my first job was being a turkey catcher LOL give a shout out to all the men out there who are turkey catchers they're usually very tall long arms long legs and they can take a shirt beating from one of those cold breeder toms especially since their wingspan can be over 5 ft I learned and I was 9 years old and 5 not even 5 ft tall at the time and my method was to change your playing baseball in your sliding into home grab them by the legs flip them over and stick your knees down on those wings before they get a chance to knock you out

I heard tell of chickens (and their eggs) started tasting funny when cooked. It turns out the hen recent move of the henhouse had resulted in it being placed over a patch of mint, which the chickens then began consuming.

Sounds like you should go and join the SCA LOL I actually belong it's the society for creative anachronism and you get to sword Play fence you can even joust.. 😀😀 I took my kids they grew up on that so they know how to do everything like that and it happens all year long it's like a Renaissance without the price you actually go camping and you live that way for the weekend or however long you set up your trip to be. It's a lot of fun you got to check it out. I still do it I love it

I have to question the walled "tomb" with the hugging skeletons. It looked more like two people hugging in an ancient house that became a walled tomb, Also, it wasn't very deep for an actual cemetery.
