We went on the Glacier Explorer Excursion with the Disney Wonder back in September and had the most amazing time. Whilst it is pricy the excursion is so worth the money. Weather permitting and water conditions, you can get very close and let me tell you when you do it is something else. Not only do you get to see these incredible structures but you also feel just how cold it is. Highly highly recommend. Feel free to ask any questions in the comments.

Wow! The Wonder got so close to the glacier! Very cool that you were able to see both glaciers. We Just did this excursion yesterday (May 2024) and there were quite a bit more icebergs in the way. I need to try this again in the September timeframe!
We were really lucky. We had early brunch at Palo this day and when we finished and stepped outside briefly we were awestruck at the passage. I think early on for these cruises the ice is still quite abundant. September seems to be less icebergs. Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it 😊
The seals dont look even a little bit bothered by the boats haha
