It saddens me despite how amazing this series is more people are interested in the war games.
What makes it worse is that half of them are carbon copies more each other, so even the good ones just get lost in the mess.
It doesn't help that this franchise is exclusive to a dying console.

Story I never knew? Most of it was a summary of OoT and SS.
WeeziMonkey In his defense, most newer generations didn't have all of the good games that we had. They are stuck with Skyward Sword, Minish Cap, and other sucky Zelda games that came out around the time of or after Twilight Princess.
I loved Twilight Princess and SS.
Tyler Mabry people who say skyward sword sucked are just people who get pissed that nintendo had the nerve to target a modern audience :O the horror! its not like the game was still great, its not like there were still things to find that the game did not tell you about. please get off the band wagon
Benjamin Mourad I'm allowed to have my opinion that the game wasn't fun or challenging, and was completely filled the most frustrating bugs and repetition alive. I'm sorry my opinion upsets you though. There's not much I don't like in life, and the art and music were great and the combat system was fun for a few minutes, but all of it together just didn't work for me.
Tyler Mabry and yet the game follows the zelda formula to the letter, you cant tell me that you like other zelda games yet somehow dont like skyward sword for the way the game is made... and the things they did change, i.e combat system, music, and graphic style, you seem to enjoy! again, it frustrates me to hell when people just say they like ocarina of time and yet dont like skyward sword simply because of the bandwagon. in my experience with the game i also encountered no bugs to speak of.

Meaning: We in life (Link in the game) start off with nothing and then as we grows we gain knowledge (weapons) and ability's (powers) to overcome our obstacles (Bosses) to achiever our goals (get the princes). This is why we relate to this character. Zelda is your story in a way.

Link is my childhood hero ive played and beaten all of the games some more than once and it never gets old that feeling of mashing the attack button and waiting for long cut scenes to end(metal gear) is just too satisfying for one to give up

I remember when I had The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time me and my sisters pretended that I got trapped inside the game and I had to beat the game to get. out. I only got off early because of other reasons (food and going to play somewhere else). That's my favorite memory of the game.

Alias Anybody Majora's Mask is far superior to OoT. I hated traversing the huge OoT over-world with my spam-rolls. Why it's praised as the best Zelda game is unknown to me, it's not as good as Majora's Mask.

They actually mirrored the entire Wii version of Twilight Princess, not just Links dominant hand, so left and right got changed for everything.

Several games imply that the two of them stayed together at the end, most heavily in SS. At the beginning of Majora's Mask, it's explicitly said that Link and Zelda became close after the events of OOT. Granted they were young, so it probably wasn't romantic.
