When my AGM batteries need replacing and cart is no longer under warranty I'll throw in a Navitas controller which the 600 amp Navitas can get these carts 30mph plus I seen... Thats' a big drain on batteries though and acceleration isn't as smooth as stock controller I have read . Id really like to see if using the Yamaha 2 inch lift would allow me to run a taller tire than 20.5 but I can not find anything on that....keep us posted.
I have to wonder about the engineering of these lift kits. Was it all about aesthetics? The front spindle mod results in a radical caster change that will affect steering forces and handling. What are the long-term effects on steering gear and driveability results?
You stayed with 10 inch wheel? If you find a way to get more than 19-20 mph out of c boss cart do post. I can add the aftermarket controller but that would void the 4 year warranty.
@@RaztechPowersports Here in south Florida Icon and Evolution carts are popular and come fully loaded with lithium batteries and all the bell and whistles and do 25 mph off the lot. Icon owners can have the controller flashed to get 30mph even. No idea if the ride is as smooth as the Drive2 or what longevity is expected with them being a mix of Chinese components vs Yamaha.
@@dougs.9486 I drove an icon cart. It was okay, but I could feel and see some cuts in quality. I’m tempted to put a upgrade speed controller in my Yamaha. Make it drive more like a Utv.
My Yamaha 2021 drive2 drives smooth . Id hate to add a lift kit and compromise the ride which is what I have been told would happen as there are no lift kits to accommodate the IRS on these carts....So how does it ride vs stock set up?

Man I had the exact same thought with the front spindles but it handles completely fine.
hey just wondering where you got the kit from
That thing looks so fun!
It’s fun being silent sometimes 🏎
What year is this nice Yamaha?
2021
ARE Those are 22x10x10 tire and wheel combo I have 2022 yamaha drive gas efi want to do the same thing
Yessir. No rubbing but the tires are slightly loud on concrete. Probably wouldn’t bother me in a gas cart though.
@@RaztechPowersports one more question some reviews on the rhox 3" lift on the yamaha golf cart had rear camber issues was this a problem for you
@@mikemcmahon1300 no camber issues at all
Did this kit compromise turning radius at all?
Ive installed a jakes 6" on a club car and it drastically reduced turning radius
Slightly but not enough to notice while driving
Was this lift meant for a drive 2 gas cart?
Yes, but it fits perfect on the irs electric as well
Why didn’t you take the back seat off?
Lazy 😂
what rims and tire specs?

If you plan on going offroad at all, yes. Stay with a 10” rim. Yeah I would love to get some more speed. It feels soooo limited from the factory

Great work! Your opinion, 22" or 23" tires and still with 10" wheels or would you go 12" with 23"? Thanks!
Thanks! If it’s going offroad at all, I would go with the 10” rim
What color is your GTW rear seat? Grey?
Stone I believe

Rides just like stock but I wouldn’t recommend these tires for onroad use only

3” is perfect amount of life…6” bit too much
It really is… also a 6” lift would never fit in a normal garage
