- This week on the 1967 VW Squareback Build I do some dent repair, straighten out the roof patch and chase down pinholes.
If no one has told you yet today, I believe in you and you are beautiful.

Always happy to see another Dream Wrench post. Fantastic production job! Learned a lot. Glad to see no animals were hurt during the making of this video :). Point well taken about not overloading the washing machine as well.
Lololol thank you!
Love how this turned out, and the bug scene cracked me up. 👏🏻👏🏻🎉🎉
Thank you SOMA! Glad someone liked that scene lol.
Just like everyone else in here, I was so happy when I saw a new video of your square! Looks like you are on a roll again. Keep up the good work
Thanks Pascal! Glad you guys were happy to see the vid.
It’s so great to have you back! You did such an awesome job with your welds and the end product was satisfying to see. I’m looking forward to more content 🔥
Thanks Javier! Next week's video is almost ready to go so it shouldn't be long! It will have footage at the new place.
I just got my 79 MK1 scirocco on the road a week ago, been driving it around San Jose. People are likin it, and so am I.
79 MK1 Scirocco that is awesome!!! Jealous!! Cannot wait to be driving the square again. Maybe I'll catch you and the Scirocco at a show sometime.
@@DreamWrench That would be Radical !!
Coming along good man. I often find myself frustrated on projects that are taking too long. Most of the time just stepping away and getting to sleep on it makes a world of difference
I hear you. It's been tough to find that balance of pushing through the tough times but also giving myself breaks to avoid burnout. Taking a break did help build up more enthusiasm to get through these tedious jobs.
Great to see another video from you dude.
Your persistence in getting that roof done right is admirable. This Square is going to be amazing when it's finished!
Thank you, I appreciate that! Im glad you guys are enjoying these videos. I am excited to finish bodywork and get the car in paint.
lookin' good!
Thank you!
Welcome back!
Thank you Leo!
Fantastic work/video as per usual Patrick, I'm glad to see you're back! It's great to see that the new roof clip is nearing completion... it's been quite the time in the making! 🤙
Thank you Dan! Really glad you guys are still enjoying following along. I cannot wait to get this car in paint!
Makin' progress - nice!
Thanks broseph!
It looking good
Thanks!
DUDE!! You’re back! I’m at work but honestly have been waiting for an upload from you far a while. Great channel and I’m loving this build. Looking forward to watching this later. Cheers man. 👍
Thank you! Really stoked to be back at it, it's been too long.
Patrick,
I’m a neighbor of Trish & Brian’s. Had dinner with them tonight. They mentioned that you were restoring a VW Squareback & had a You Tube site called Dream Wrench. Just checked it out, subscribed. Good name.
I’m coming into procession of two Karmann Ghia’s. I intend to restore one and I don’t know with the other one. Maybe you would be interested in comparing notes.
Let me know,
Mark
Absolutely! I just asked them to send you my contact. Would love to check out the Ghias sometime or have you swing by my place. Sounds like you got a couple of early 60s models?
Man its great to have you back!! Been itching for some quality type 3 content from you! Keep up the great work and cant wait to see more... now Im off to go grind welds on my fastback!
Thanks Alex I appreciate that! Good to be back finally. Go get those welds! I just subbed
Thank you!
I like your vise grip slide hammer! I always wanted to make one with a flat sheet metal duck bill (whatever ya want to call it) set of vise grips!
You should! I made this one when I was having trouble with the HF one. I think I got the idea from Clatter.
Really nice work. Very inspiring! Also kind of funny watching you put that effort into saving that katydid. My wife just brought one in that my dogs got earlier today. Nice to see people who care about all kinds of critters.
Katydid! I was wondering what that was. Thank you.
@@DreamWrench yeah! Keep up the random acts of kindness AND the T3 beautification!
Welcome back!
Thanks Rob!
