Sadly, as most networks have switched off 2G network now such old phones don't work.

Ohh...i added the sim card number in the security system as home security number in my cell phone.

Good idea. To bad it won't work. If you hold down the key the call won't go through.
I too had the same doubt when i thought of making it but the cell phones are designed to take an input once at one keystroke. Even if the key is pressed, it does not register a key stroke again till it is lifted back but the speed dial feature works perfectly fine.
That is why this works like a charm, when the card is removed and the contact is made & activates the call.
However, if you cut the call at the receiver end, you need to insert the card back again to reactivate the system to dial a call again.
@@goodtech1 Wouldn't have commented unless I was sure. I double checked it since it was simple to do. It does not work. The call does not go through. Hardest part was going to Walmart to get the sim card for the phone. Sorry but you idea does not work. Its to bad it sounded cool.
I am still not sure because its working really well on my cell phone. May be it is cell phone dependent then...I am sorry for the hassle you had to face.

@@goodtech1- I also do not have audio editing experience. I think simply eliminating that audio background would have been better. The oscillating loud, quiet, loud, quiet in the background is what is so distracting. If you wish for background, something that is more consistent and does not overpower you seems like a good thing to try. Anyway, I like how you are re-purposing old tech for new ideas. Best wishes.
