My Dad and I listening to this, now, next to him as he is passing on to Glory and The presence of The Lord. He wanted to listen to classical music the other day. I just found this.

I trained 12 years on the piano, and I played many of the pieces that you include in your classic play lists. Even at age 74 with arthritis in my fingers and hands when I listen to these classics, I can feel my fingers wanting to move and stretch
with the notes. Such dear bittersweet moments come to mind as my memory reaches for the next note in the measures. I am grateful that I found your and your play lists. Thank you and may these classics never be forgotten through the coming ages.

Thank you for your sweet and kind reply. I had a horrible accident some years ago when I was riding my horse, leaving me with 70% use of my right hand. And I was told I was very fortunate to have that. I suffered an injury to my left little finger a few years later. I continued to play but never with same proficiency. Finally three years ago, I gave away my piano to a family of children who wanted to take piano lessons. They have my piano, and now I hear two of the four playing so well.. Even though it was hard to part with my piano, I know that I did the right thing when I hear the children learning to play and the advancement they are making. I have to ask myself how could I let my piano sit and not be used as well as it could be when there were children who wanted to learn to play. They were so excited to receive my piano. I know that I am blessed every time I hear the children play. And I hope that the piano has blessed their lives as much as it blessed mine.
So for now… I enjoy listening to the wonderful music on Classical Oasis, close my eyes and let the sounds of these old classical friends flow into and over my soul as memories of playing them return.

It was better advice than the post above. Breathing i.e meditating with closed eyes while controlling breathing to 5 sec inhale, six sec hold and 7 sec exhale.,repeat for twenty minutes,it lowers ur heart rate by more than half just saying close Ur eyes and take a breath is vague. This music is also not best suited to calming down panicked mind.for that I need white noise or soundscape eh sounds of rain hitting roof,, water being poured into jug

When you listen all of them always finish on the Bach never in Debussy but always on the Bach.
this is one of the best interpretations of la campanella I've ever heard. The sound is so crisp and smooth

Manhã de outono no Rio de Janeiro e o sol brilha sobre nós que comecamos o dia sendo contemplados com esse "Oasis" de emoções! That op. 9 #2 in E flat is absolute perfection. There is a grand piano at my kaiser hospital lobby, right by the prescription room where there's always 50 people in line. I imagined being able to crack my knuckles and pound this masterpiece out for those poor impatient saps and soothe their rigors of life by the balm of this torrent of mellifluous ear manna. Just...wow. Thank you.
Or.... the hospital could PUT ON A CD... fkn sheep.
