Keep up the good work. Ordered my wiper delete at the weekend. Had fun getting the wiper off yesterday. Resorted to drilling it off as was scared I would break the glass. The kit should be here tomorrow.

You need a clamp to take window whispers of it makes the job a lot more easy....

You should buy a universal gripper socket of eBay to undo/remove rounded off bolt heads/nuts

Buy an LED light on a stand mate, will give you a lot of light when working in the dark and will help us see better!

paint the wing mirrors black mate! totally changes the look of the car. Check out my Corsa too. Keep doing what you’re doing!❤️
In future mate leave the nut on end of threads then put pliers under wiper arm and and on top of bolt if that makes sence and squeeze them together and basically pulles wiper arm to end of threads if that makes sence and should fall off there hard to remove as there tapered and splined

You didn't need to hacksaw it off. A Puller takes the wiper arm off.

I've a wiper delete on my astra and I like it due to it looking neater and more flush on the back. I never use to use the rear wiper anyway due to always having a clean window the rain just runs off 😂 just see it like a van or fully tinted rear window you can't see out the back of them so not having a rear wiper is basically the same

After you took that single nut off if you then undone the motor inside it would of pulled out ? 🤷🏻♂️ and freed the wiper arm

I had the same issue when deleting my wiper off my first car, I ended up using an angle grinder 😂
On my new car I used this: www.halfords.com/workshop-tools/tools/hand-tools/laser-wiper-arm-removal-tool
It might help for future reference or anyone else struggling with the same issue, this uses the force of the bolt against itself and works with ease.
