Yes, SPIELKARTEN!!! Sounds like a way to order pizza and beer in one go! Do you know why some cards don't have flavour text in this version and do in their English counterpart? PS: I love time traveling (I travel back to 94 all the time) and German beers, it's a win-win!!
Way to go! This is excellent content for Magic the Gathering! Thank you thank you! Keep it up! The way you describe the "concept" "backstory" of the card is very refreshing and is great for my son to learn and enjoy! I thoroughly enjoy this more in depth appreciation of the cards. Including the concept, the mechanics, the history and what I think is near niche! Which you should really push in your dialogue is the appreciation of the art for exactly what it is, ART. 👏👏👏👏👏 Please keep it up!
Ah, the old cards. Funny pronunciation, but you're still much closer than most other North Americans when it comes to non-English text. And of course good talk on all the cards!
Actually the set was cards that were going into revised from older sets. Since they had a policy of not printing a white bordered version of a card without having it printed previously they printed these before revised was released in foriegn languages
but how does this correlate to the reserved list? And are reprinting cards like this "ok" because they are a foreign language where the reserved list is english only? or are these cards that are literally just not part of the reserved list?
These cards are all part of 4th edition, just a black bordered “pre-print“ in foreign language. No 4th edition cards were part of the reserved list. This is why italian renaissance (reminiscento?) was a smaller set as legends and the dark already had black bordered versions in italian.
Mike out here speaking absolute nonsense when it comes to the contents of "each different" "version" of "Chronicles". Nothing he said made any sense at all, but those cards were BEAUTIFUL!
You butchered the German language there, but I love your fierce will to get through the seemingly random assembly of characters that make up the German words! :)

I have an Italian copy of Sunken City. Love it in my Alela Commander deck.

Iron claw was one my favorite cards before atogs.
I have one pack of this set. lol. It was given to me from a friend about 13-ish years ago and I still have never opened it.
I loved cracking these packs. I've opened many German packs but I think Renaissance has been the most enjoyable.
Wait! What? Time-Travelling Pajamas??? WHEN did these come out??? I've been waiting a long time for a pair!!! : P Oh, the Great Old Artwork Day of MtG
Funny to watch as a german speaker 😄

Worth the price of admission.
Thanks
What a day! You just opened this today and OpenBoosters just cracked a Italian legends today too lol I want that factory! They look so much better BB.
High level flavor delivered in a pretty tight package.
Loved this so much! This took me back.
11:36 Fun facts: Ironclaw Orcs once had a spot in a tournament victory, just as a curve filler.
It's a four of in Ben Rubin's finalist deck from Worlds 1998. Check it out, it was one of those gold bordered Championship Reprint decks.
Hardly strange was the French version of chronicles with some card changes in the selection
the artwork looks so good on these compared to the almost grayed out original English prints.
Actually the set was cards that were going into revised from older sets. Since they had a policy of not printing a white bordered version of a card without having it printed previously they printed these before revised was released in foriegn languages
Nope, revised was first printed black bordered in germany. So this set was specifically cards that did NOT go into revised but into fourth edition.
That was mint 🤩👏 Danke sehr 😉
Hey Historian, last weekend at gameday I was awarded with a Consider in Japanese, but I haven't seen any online to price it. Any help?
People should actually go listen to the brother's war, it's actually well made, I highly recommend it
These are great content Purp, keep it up!
Man, i really would have wished to her your pronunciation of "ORKS VON DER EISERNEN KLAUE"
Ende des Zuges!
you should speak german more often... your pronunciation is fantastic. "Beschwörung von Höhlenmenschen"... This made my day.

I'm pretty sure the reserved list applies to all languages.

ah germans and their very long words XD

We need more of this!
