Toei's creativity continues in every episode, presenting it in the best possible way for the viewer to enjoy. Garp vs. Aokiji Law vs. Teach. Bebo's sulong-style intervention in Teach's conversation with all realism so that Kuzan can join him. All these shots 10/10
That’s why ever since a certain fight made a certain character look bad, I’ve been waiting for the anime to expand on it so it looks less one sided.

yes! there were many moments and scenes from where Garp was standing on the ship laughing and on his feet was the same pose Luffy does as well and the laugh face just like luffy. Very nice they made it like that.

I think the main point of Kid and Law story line in Egghead arc was to remove them from the race to find the One Piece by having them and their crews completely defeated, and heavily implied that the poneglyphs copies got stolen.
The Current Yonkos are the main competitors for the One Piece Treasure.

"Those who waver are weak" This is something that is common in One Piece, if your heart is not fully into it you're attacks and overall strength will be weaker. This is what's happening to Kuzan right now since he is Garp' former pupil. So Garp is really strong (out of his prime of course) but it's also implied that Kuzan is not giving it his all.
So it should be even then but garp is still stronger even if kuzan went all out what kuzan would depend on to beat garp is stamina because as kaido said haki reigns Supreme over all things in one peice so kuzan ice attacks does nothing to garp

In the manga it's "man marked by flames" which is an alternate translation for the Japanese for "man with the burn scar"

I like how garp does what law discovered at the beginning of his fight, that haki can nullify devil fruit effects, so everytime garp gets frozen we see the lightning haki effect and he unfreezes himself, which means he is using haki to nullify the freezing
This was already shown ages ago as well. Doflamingo did the same thing when Kuzan froze him in Punk Hazard. But haki was animated differently back then without the red/black lightning so it didn't look the same but it was the same exact method.

Garp is on par with Roger. if you remember one of the flashback. kuzan was complementing garp on his refusal to become admiral. because garp doesnt want to rose up in rank and wants to stay lowkey.
if you all remember last episode when the trio luffy kid law leaves wano by having 3 copies of the poneglyph and kid mentioning the other people who had the poneglyphs about the "man with a burn scar" that's where it all started
and this only the beggining of the arc guys, there's so much more, will blow your mind
I like how Van Augur just dodges and leaves his captain unprotected. They are not friends, they just share mutual interests.
I really like how the animation is simplistic yet crazy good. No SSJ aura no over the top special effects it's nice

I'm confident that the Red Poneglyph from Fishman Island was the one in Big Mom's custody, because it was her territory in the past. She probably took it herself, for obvious reasons. I'm not sure if it is confirmed or not, but that's my theory.
It's not. Linlin already had her road poneglyph in Roger's time, he mentioned stealing a rubbing when he met Oden and Whitebeard. And Fishman Island was Whitebeard's territory long before it was hers. So either Newgate moved it or someone snagged it after he died and before Linlin took over.

straw hats had the privilage of being able to stop and train effeciently. Pre-time skip pirate rivals did not have that so they kinda ended up with how Rayleigh was trying to point out what delaying the reunion could offer.
They did have time they just rushed in to the new world. The straw hats could have gotten back together right after marineford but Luffy told them to wait because he recognized they aren’t ready
@@nnightkingj all I said that they had a specific setting to be trained according to each character without having anything major to worry about. Non straw hats had no extrernal clues that would help them go further (as far as we know).

this episode is unusually packed with actions
This arc is just made for Toei. So many moments where they can use such animations. I mean this short choreography between Kuzan & Garp was already very strong. The Blue Hole moment reminded me a little of the scene G4 Luffy against Doflamingo when he used the King Kong Gun to send him very deep into the abyss :]
In general, this episode was very well implemented and showed the interaction between Kuzan and Blackbeard very well :D
POV: If the pill lasted longer, Bepo would've killed Blackbeard.

Bepo always was the ride-or-die homie. Between so many pirates crews, he always cared for his captain beyond the call of duty. Man is pretty much only rivaled by the Strawhats in terms of how much he cares.
But yeah, he's a Mink and not a Zoan user (so no different transformations like Choppper). But apparently Chopper found a way to access Sulong in Minks through drugs hahaha
Y'all gotta remember that Garp & Sengoku were the only marines Roger was interested in fighting and Garp specifically was the only marine who was chasing and often cornering Roger when he was still around. So Garp is no slouch. Also, Garp and Roger took on the Rocks Pirates and defeated them. At his prime he was the real deal.

Just To make sure I wanted to make one thing clear if you guys didn't know, the devil fruits that Blackbeard is stealing he basically kills its user then the devil fruit's ability goes to the nearest regular fruit there then one of his crew gets it, the only mystery is how he can has two devil fruit abilities at once

Love the contrast between blackbeards crew and the straw hats both in what they say with bb saying they aren’t friends they just share a common interest and then later when van ogre warps out of the way to let his captain take the hit. It all goes back to jaiya where Luffy and bb are completely opposite in tastes too.
Garp is super strong for sure, he supposed to be Fleet Admiral but he refused it.
