Good stuff, couldn’t agree more about throwing cautions for bad restarts. Makes no sense to change the outcome of the race and dock someone positions 10, 12, 14 laps later
Agree on throwing a yellow right away if a driver jumps the restart. But the Trophy Cup needs to keep the same format. That’s what make it a great event.
Just think are we ever going to see a driver/builder race a complete n a tional season ever again. ? LIKE Bloomquist?? Thanks Justin for all have done this year for ys fans!
Just got back from another great Trophy Cup. Not sure if it was mentioned on the broadcast since I was in the stands but Justin Peck got docked 2 sports on the yellow before the last restart on Friday before Colby was docked. Excited to see what Rudeen has in store for this great event but it has to stay at the Tulare Thunderbowl.
@@saltyalters Yes absolutely, I was just saying it will go up and Im all for it. more money for the drivers and teams is better for all of us, local and online. Yes Sir.
@@stratonut but we can break this down a little more. On the sprint car side production hands down goes to Dirtvision. On the entertainment side I give it all to Flo. Dirtvision broadcast are hokie and a little too buttoned up. High limit was entertaining and their broadcast peak my interest when I was flipping live between the two.
The Lucas Oil schedule sucks a few races in NC more in Florida but none in SC or GA. Too many up north and in the Midwest and Hussets back on schedule after not having 250 people in the stands
Thanks Justin! I think Bayston will win a couple races next year buy not Corey level. I'm assuming Noisey will remain the crew chief for #14 but will he also crew chief when Corey runs. Still calling Buddy winning championship next year. Copeland got screwed by dumb rule, agree with you, throw the yellow when a jump happens
yes doing the docking after the fact sounds like something nascar does, if a false start throw the caution, if done after the fact could be ripe for question of corruption perhaps trying to change the result if its not the one they liked or to keep someone in line like nascar and their post, post race inspections to keep people in line they say.
They announced at drivers meeting it's not nose to tail. The official stands at stsrt finish in infield and you have to be physically behind. So if Copeland would have been down there and behind he would have been fine but he wasn't they said.
Bayston can't Q for his life, but if you really go back the last 3 months or so and watch how he raced. He never put a wheel wrong, always ran considerably further ahead than when he started and passed a lot of race cars. Don't know anything about the car/team he was driving for, but he looked real, real good down the stretch.
Not a late model guy, but I hear about “practice nights” for the late models that appear to be sanctioned by the track and/or the sanctioning body. I don’t recall a “practice night” for sprint cars. Why is this?
I always thought when Rudeen Racing had Corey Eliason ran for them that the team was part of the problem. Wise got the ride but would he have won the championship if Sunshine didn't get injured ? You got a good point when the team doesn't put a good car under a driver's butt for him to do his job successfully. Guess 2025 we will see what Bayston can do. Filling Day's shoes will be a tough task
100% agree. It's bs in nascar and even worse in dirt. Ars just because didn't think dirt would follow that bull. Not sure why we change from what's been awesome for years.
Your comments about Flo and DirtVision controlling the future of dirt racing... couldn't be more spot on. This is for both the series and tracks. Unfortunate that this is true as race tracks continue to get the short end of the stick with these services. As a track owner, not not one of these streaming services would be allowed at my track until I saw numbers and had a serious rev share agreement in place.
I love Carl Short... but instead of milking an event name he needs to let it go to a promoter who is going to do something for this event... find a home at a racy track and really make something of this event once again. At this point, Carl is just cashing checks and not promoting the event.
Not docking someone right away is crazy!!! If you don't throw the yellow and dock them immediately then how do you expect anyone to give credit to your series or the winner.
Sometimes it takes a move to shine 😂😂 I believe Spencer will shine bright in the 14 JMR car. JMR will be fine with Spencer behind the wheel of the 14 I'm going out there to say 5 win's in 2025 and 15 top 5s 30 top tens
Dirt racing "Superpowers".....is that a thing? Hmmmmm. I think I like it. No clue if you will ever read this but it do it would be interesting to hear who you'd consider to be "Superpowers" in Late Models and major Sprints. I think its pretty obvious, at least the top few in both supers and sprint cars. What is difficult is where to draw the line. is it the top 5 that are "Superpowers"?, top 10?...Where is the cutoff?....I dunno, it's tough. I just know such things are fun to think about, and to talk about..with other lovers of the best kind of racing there is.
Another key non-call with Gravel in WOO. Last week his crew chief Cody Jacobs came on the track for an accident red and nothing happened even though other teams had been DQ’d for the same thing. Friday Gravel jumped a restart, made contact with the leader and the accordion effect took out several cars. Again, WOO overlooked the incident.
@mno0624-hv8le i think WoO is being very cautious with not ruffling feathers with teams. The possibility of jumping ship are very real. Just my opinion
The chase can be good... just need to look at points structure and how rainouts affect a limited race schedule. Not a fan of one track and weekend deciding points (Brownstown). Moran deserved better as he was hottest driver down the stretch and got due to one track with two points nights... got so far behind he had to throw a Hail Mary at Eldora.
This might be the first comment from someone in five years of this show not wanting me to mention race results. I usually take a beating for things I don't mention... Hmm...
Congratulations Troy w a g a m a n the 2024 Lincoln Speedway track champion and team

Flo with Lucas = flo subscription going up
It hasn't the last few years, why would it now?
It went up $10 last year I believe. Multiple sport platform tho won’t see a major increase.
Still worth it considering how many races you get to watch in full the whole season.

Colby was gracious about the result, shoulda been a call back!
Wow!!! That was intense!!! To borrow a line from Wayne's World intense in ten cites. 🎉❤
MY OPION IS GREAT JOB 😊😊😊

Flo could probably buy STSS for couple of 70’s era silver quarter’s.

Trophy cup may need a couple tweaks, dont ruin a great event !!!
Also have you ever seen a complete rework in both corners during the fuel stop?
THE BIGGEST LOSER IN THE 2024 LUCAS OIL CHAMPIONSHIP ... ssi motorsports ! ! ! ! ! AND THEY DESERVE IT FOR WHAT THEY DID ! ! ! ! !
Totally agree! 💯, true colors loud n bright 😎!

daleolson3506 yep
Besides speed weeks the Lucas Oil Series said the hell with the South smh
Like to see DTWC move to Kokomo.
Where do you see T-Mac going ? He's my favorite as I was a lifetime barefoot fan.
Boom Briggs team owner stepping away from driving. T-Mac driver as a second team car to Rocket1. Brandon Sheppard back to Rocket1.
@@richolson2908 appreciate the info. Thanks
Comment on Ross Robinson from Delaware? #7
Like I said before things always seem to even things out.

Spencer needs to up his racing and stay away from getting caught up in so many crashes.

How much of the prize of a race does the driver get to keep?
Around 40% is common.
Trophy cup = Fixing the win 😂
Barry sabotaged that car before on drivers he didn't like.
Sounding like what this ⬇️ guy said to me also
Please tell about WHYNOT ms. Fall classic this weekend. Bad a$$ track. Think 15k to win. Support your locals

PIERCE also started from way at the back and won, MORAN should have done it too. Congratulations to RTJ Championship 👍👍👍
I enjoy the updates and news. Not a huge fan of soiling who won where. All due respect, if we just wanted to know we’d just look it up.
