Wowwwww 👏 Some good research here, well done Marina. At the risk of sounding biased, Saskatoon is the best place to land for newcomers. I say this for 2 reasons; first there are more variety of jobs in Saskatoon as most private sectors have their homeoffice in SK right here in Saskatoon, Regina on the other hand is more concentrated on government jobs. I see more and more people landing jobs in Saskatoon and moving out from Regina. Except if one has family or friends in Regina, Saskatoon is my recommended destination for newcomers. Secondly, I was in Regina for the first time last month and I said to my colleague, 'Regina is a sleepy town'...and she laughed and totally agreed, she's lived in Canada for 14 years and been to Regina countless times, so I suppose I'm not the only one sharing this sentiment. Please, forgive my bias but Saskatoon is my city any day, any time and has to be the most beautiful place in Saskatchewan. Well done Marina and settleeasysask!
This is not my handwriting o. Thank God say no be me talk am. I tried to hard to hide my bias. I share the same sentiments, Oge. Let me sha pin it for people to see.
I do not think that you are bias though. I have previously lived in Regina for 4month (work purposes) and currently live in Saskatoon. When we initially moved to Swift Current from Calgary. My family toured both cities (Regina and Saskatoon), and it was easy to tell which city was more pleasing to the eyes. Since we know that we would eventually settle in one of the two, Saskatoon was the easy pick for my wife. Just like Edmonton, Regina is a sleepy town, and just like Calgary, Saskatoon is a bubbly town. Driving around Saskatoon was also more fun. Just as you mentioned and Marina's mention in this video, as per jobs, lots of government jobs and openings in Regina while Saskatoon is more private organizations. I work with one of the crowns, Saskatoon is not really the best choice for my career for moving around. Myself getting to move into a position in Saskatoon was a miracle on it's own. However, my wife prefers Saskatoon. So Saskatoon is a goal. Happy wife, happy life.
Hey I appreciate your content! I love Saskatchewan and I enjoy hearing people's experiences when they have moved here from other countries. Cheers from Edmonton!
Hey Marina!! I'm a professional magician, hypnotist and DJ from Saskatoon. I have just started to take my RUclips channel serious and found your videos! Love the content, keep it up!
The truth is Regina is dry lol BUT what did we pay permanent residency for? Is it to have fun or to have better opportunities? I still love my Regina, moved here from Ottawa Ontario, and honestly speaking no regrets! Plus I pay 500 dollars in childcare, cost of living on point, housing, traffic, job opportunities, omo mehn I love Saskatchewan.
While I agree that we came to Canada for better opportunities, the fun part is also important. Remember, this is not a temporary arrangement, it's for life. And what's life without a little spice here and there...😁
@@MARINAESIRI It was nice as a single girl without responsibilities, I lived there for 7 years. I mean Ottawa is beautiful but after going back to visit as a married mom of two kids, sis I pass. Saskatchewan is much better trust me 🤣

If you are an immigrant looking to open business or in starting your own small farmer or better yet group looking to start a farmer's co-operative, look to Saskatchewan's smaller rural communities. Housing in Hazenmore is for sale from $10,000 for small 1 Bedroom and $20,000 up for 2 bedroom. Each home in Hazenmore is on it's own well so no water bill.
