The stars came out at Belmont Park yesterday, and none shone brighter than Formal Gold, the 4-year-old colt who outran Skip Away and Will's Way and won the $500,000 Woodward Stakes by 5 1/2 lengths.

Formal Gold was so awesome here. My favorite horse by far him and Ghostzapper. The handicap division was so great back in 1997 they don't make them like Formal Gold anymore simply awesome
