Honest i dont know, healthy for monkeys to eat fried food. Dog and cat try not to.

I agree with you but these people really don't care what the monkeys eat. They also give them chocolate which is toxic to animals. They don't care because they know they're not keeping the monkey for its entire life like we do. What cats and dogs by the time these monkeys are 2 years old. They will be abandoned and she will get two new baby ones

The new Momo is not greedy, like the previous one, who shoved all the food in her mouth. Greedy monkeys get sick. eat too much.

The Monkey babies look cute and all, I won't deny that but the lady has she ever thought that these adorable creatures will soon grow up, and I just checked online how they grow up to be and the prognosis don't look good. Soon they will reach a sexual maturity where sadly (for this lady) they will have the desire to copulate and I'm not being mean to her it's a fact. What is this lady going to do about that?
When they grow up these nice looking creatures don't look nice mature, I don't think she'll be cuddling and sleeping with both adult male Monkeys, besides they're quite aggressive and no matter the love 💕 you are giving to them they might still give you a nightmare or two because lady, THEY ARE WILD UNDOMESTICATED CREATURES.
These so called "Pets" are not Cats and Dogs or your average gold fish. Lady where are you going to put these "family members" when they grow up to be adults? Are you going to just leave them in the parks like most do when they reach a certain level of maturity they can't handle? Lady have you thought about the NEGATIVES or the CONS that you soon will have to face with these creatures? I'm not being mean to you, I just want you to see the BIG PICTURE 🖼️

You raise valid points. That is what I try to impress upon people who want to get a monkey. I worked at a sanctuary for years and still volunteer there. All of our monkeys there came from owners who surrendered them. Unfortunately a few we had to rescue. I'm in Ohio and if you are from the States, you probably are aware of the harsh Winters we have here. You can't just "release" a monkey here into the forest. They would be dead within 24 hours if not by prey, by the elements.
I respectfully disagree with you about full grown monkeys being ugly. I think some of them end up being absolutely gorgeous. I'll grant you that some are rather unattractive. Lol. Especially the adult females when they're "in heat." Ugh. Their booties get down right gross!
I continue to enjoy monkeys from afar. I have two favorites at the sanctuary. Mario and Sophia. Mario is a handsome 6 y/o Northern Long Tail. Sophia is a beautiful 4 year old golden Pigtail. I've taken care of them at the sanctuary since Mario was 1 year old and Sophia was a teeny tiny 2 MONTH old. She was severely suffering from malnutrition, neglect and had severe Mange. So much so that the poor thing was severely anemic. She almost died on us. I'm really bonded with her because I took direct care of her and fed her faithfully every 2 hours around the clock for two weeks. (I've raised three children so I'm used to being sleep deprived. 😆)
Sophia has reached her sexual maturity and is currently in heat. We are HOPING for a successful mating! So far she's been pretty guarded around the males but the Primatologists overseeing the Macaques is hopeful.
Anyway, that is exactly why I volunteer for free. I just love spending time with the monkeys and watching them grow up into adulthood. We currently don't have any "babies." The youngest monkey we have is about 18 months old. He is a very funny and playful Spider Monkey named Roofus.

She did not kill SuSu she was near death when they found her while on a camping trip she was abandoned by her mother who almost beat her to death and left her for dead, SuSu had bites taken out of her by her mom and developed an infection she was taken to the doctor who perscribed medication but SuSu was always sick from the time they brought her home and eventually died of her injuries from her monkey mother she just never recovered she was not killed by her human mother. The original Mo was replaced probably because he was just getting out of control but I don’t think they killed him they probably took him to the forest and turned him loose.
