There's a lot to like with Pete & Bas: the flow, the energy, the references and wordplay. But my favorite thing that they do is when they go Bar 4 Bar - Back 2 Back. It's do anazing when they do that because it distills their energy into something that's pure.
I just said this on another reaction. You know they're sitting in the same room writing together. You can't just send your partner a beat and get a verse back in the mail. It's so sonically appealing, I can't believe more artists don't do it.

According to them, 'Golf' gives the timeline rap sheet for Pete and when he cut ties. Bas worked illegal underground boxing venues and was a drummer. The video for 'Quick little freestyle' seems a little too real to not have some experience involved and is the dopest imo.

It is not, however, the capital as it is vulnerable to attacks and coups due to its location, also there were tribal consideration. So they built a whole new city, like Washington DC or Canberra or Brasilia, to serve as the seat of government. It's called Abuja
