The layering sounds good but we shouldn’t have to do this just to amp up the pistachio that we were promised in this fragrance! It’s called yummy pistachio but pistachio isn’t even the main player and it’s marketed as intense but doesn’t even last 😢 I’m disappointed ☹️ I laughed so hard when you said there are some normal people out there, everybody isn’t like us, not everybody wants to choke people out 😂😂😂😂
Yes I’m one of those 😂 So it’s not a big deal if a fragrance doesn’t last on me. I buy them to be a skin scent for my boo ❤ it’s only in a blue moon some random person compliments me on my fragrances.

I bought the travel spray and I can’t stop smelling it. It does last on me about 6 hours when I overspray but something about it is so addicting. When you made the Mon Guerlain comparison, it made so much sense because Mon Guerlain is my absolute favorite perfume. It carries that same powdery floral note paired with a gourmand that I adore. This is feels like the perfect gourmand for summer, not overly coy but still sweet. I’ve noticed the warm weather brings out the notes in this very well.
I like it also. I got it in PR as well and I agree with you, everybody doesn’t want the Oud Bouquet beastly vibes. It’s very fresh and pretty. To me it gives me Princess vibes (a soft fluffy gourmand).
Not everyone wants a beast perfume but a decent one that last at least 8 hours yes, who in the right mind want to spend $$ making these people richer when they can even get a decent long lasting fragrance? You have only one job. Sorry it just makes me upset that a hard working person go buy these poor performing fragrances meanwhile the creators getting richer selling mediocre fragrances just for how they hype their products. You are exactly right about the Mon Guerlain ( it’s the powdery vibe). It’s like Mon Guerlain with a brighter juicer top (probably the bergamot) sweeter base and like you said without the rose and maybe the lavender

Yum pistachio on clothes is my longest lasting perfume.. its very intense, Stays on my skin forever and on the clothes I can smell it even after washing it so idk how it doesn’t last on others
I love the bottle for the fragrance and it is definitely pretty. I am more of a gourmand girl so I will start with a travel spray just to try it. My favorite note is marshmallow so I wonder how much of it I can pick up in my skin. Great idea to layer it with gourmand body products. I found the Nutrius Brazilian Body Butter from Costco so I’ll try it with that and the Bum Bum.

I’ve always thought it was an edible type scent, but as chocolate and cherry have had their moment, it seems to have become synonymous with deep and rich. Hey Ai, I did like the Kayali's Yum! At first sniff I didn't like it but I went back to it a couple days later and I LOVE IT! So far I have been wrong about two fragrances this and 500 Years by Etat Libre D'orange. Maceration is Key!❤

When you said it smelled similar to Mon Guerlain I nearly dropped my coffee 😂 and then you said it smelled similar to Soleil Blanc my eyes bugged out! I am not a fan of either of those scents. One thing that I will say about Kay ali fragrances is that I love them for touching up if that makes sense. Like if I’m wearing a heavy hitter, and I’m touching up a little bit, but I plan on being back home in less than three or four hours, it’s perfect for that. It kind of activates what I’m already wearing.

It smells like cheap air freshener I am so glad I bought the pistachio sample. Bought all her samples today. Smells like BBW, Victoria secret… definately not on par with high end perfumes. Lots of cheap Arab perfume dupes out there for these like invite amber

I think people have differing definitions of gourmand. I’ve always thought it was an edible type scent, but as chocolate and cherry have had their moment, it seems to have become synonymous with deep and rich. Pistachio ice cream isn’t deep and rich, it’s more refreshing, so maybe we shouldn’t be so shocked. Reviews like this certainly help manage expectations though.

Hey Ai, I did like the Kayali's Yum! At first sniff I didn't like it but I went back to it a couple days later and I LOVE IT! So far I have been wrong about two fragrances this and 500 Years by Etat Libre D'orange. Maceration is Key!❤

When you said it smelled similar to Mon Guerlain I nearly dropped my coffee 😂 and then you said it smelled similar to Soleil Blanc my eyes bugged out! I am not a fan of either of those scents. I do love Mon Gerlain intense, though. Whew I will have to try a travel size...maybe😂 grateful for your the thorough review.

One thing that I will say about Kay ali fragrances is that I love them for touching up if that makes sense. Like if I’m wearing a heavy hitter, and I’m touching up a little bit, but I plan on being back home in less than three or four hours, it’s perfect for that. It kind of activates what I’m already wearing.

I was thinking about getting this fragrance just because the bottle is pretty. Huda still owes me the 10ml of VRSP I ordered but I will try to smell a few of the butters to see if I really want this scent.
