I have a pair of these about 2 years old performing magic tricks in my living room. I'm not sure what the limits of these things are really. I'm so happy with these speakers. I recently placed my two mono amps, power regenerator, and DAC each on a IKEA Aptileg (sp?) ~17"x20" butcher blocks on top of two 5"x7" cork mats. All but the DAC have some museum putty between the feet and block. I wasn't ready for that improvement. I thought it would be minor, but man what an improvement. More clarity and solidity across the range. Not bad for $100 after a couple of coupons my wife happened to have with her. equipment: Tekton Moab 4ohm bi-wireable, PS Audio M700 amps, Gustard A26 direct XLR to the amps, PS Audio P3 Regenerator. Roon using the DAC's built-in endpoint.
When I sold mine (upgrading to the new Ulfberht15) the buyer took a long time telling me how many much more expensive speakers he's owned, how unlikely it was these would make the cut, on and on. I said well you don't live far you're welcome to come even if you probably won't want them. Right away first song the guy was changing and recalibrating fast! Played him all kinds of different music, he just kept saying how they are so much better than expected. Kept asking me how much, and shaking his head. All his famous expensive speakers suddenly weren't all that. Spent a couple hours playing all kinds of music until I finally said hey if they're not for you no problem hate to kick you out but,.... then he pulled out the cash and paid my full asking price. First to come hear em, bought em. Nothing else even comes close, not at two, three, five times the price.
Hi Kevin, I am looking for a tall tower set for my parasound a21+ mono blocks which provide 1000wpc each, I want a laid back and relaxed sound with a lot of low end punch, somehow forgiving with heavy metal harsh recordings. Would you say that these Tektons are my best option? Can’t stand the analytical sound of hiend modern speakers anymore.
It's always more trustworthy to hear reviews from owners rather than YT reviewers most of them are Influencers who seldom criticize the equipment they review. I didn't hear from you mentioning any cons or downsides of these speakers. Maybe you did in your other videos.
Listened to these briefly while sitting next to Eric Alexander himself at RMAF a few years ago, an unrefined exaggerated in-your-face presentation, these are more for an untrained ear wanting to be wowed with volume and dynamics (just like what I heard from Infinity designs back in the 1970s) - Hey, whatever floats your boat as they say.
Could I ask you please..... Did the manufacturer threaten you with legal action if you didn't like the speakers? He is known to do this. Please think about removing any Tekton content if you feel this behaviour is wrong. Thanks
You don't see any actual owners and buyers giving tekton a bad review for a reason...the speakers are awesome......professional shills trying to get clicks for coins reviewing 3rd hand products with no way of verification of their authentication and not adulterated...just lol at YT shills as a way to get your info about speakers lol
Thanks for sharing. Sounds like you could use some room treatment. Those Moabs would sound even better.
First thing I noticed, no room treatment - huge part of the sound is missing.

Kinda ironic that a microphone is out of the budget apparently.
Which would you pick for rock / metal? I own a pair of Pendragons and I'm looking for more impact.

Who makes that equipment rack?
Can you get the mic closer? It's hard to hear your voice.

Your room seems very ''echo'' sorry, but you need to see to the room treatment .It's not the speakers ''it's the room''.Respectfully !
The reason he's speaking so highly of tekton is because if he doesn't Eric will threaten him with litigation
