Just got done building mine! The ramp caught me totally off guard. Got pretty close to breaking the insert trying to get it in and out. Definitely an oversight on their part, but quickly remedied (I sanded the small rods down a bit). Great tank otherwise!
14:24 Neo: Sup3rSaiy3n brought in a Spartan tank, and then another that looked just like it. Trinity: How much like it, was it the same Spartan? Neo: Might have been, I’m not sure. Morpheus: Switch, Apoc. Neo: What is it? Trinity: Deja vu is usually a glitch in the Matrix. It happens when they change something.
Interesting to find out that everyone is having the same issue with the ramp. I ended up drilling out the sockets until it swings freely, and installing a couple 2x1mm magnets to hold it in the up position.
"Look, Rhinos, RRRRRRHHHHIIIIIIINNNNNOOOSSSSS!!!! Our enemies hide in METAL BAWKSES, DA KOWARDZ! TEH FEWLZ!! We...*space asthma* We should take away their METAL BAWKSES!!"
I love this kit and used them for my 40k world eaters, love the chunkier armoured look and circular doors! Absolutely covered in spikes, chains and blood it really looks the part. Makes nice lore sense too, since that lot have been kicking about since the heresy
Nah man 12 seems pretty accurate. If you've ever been in an older Apc or any Apc you'll know that they're almost all Cramming in more soldiers than you might think possible
I think the same ramp is on Vindicator. Mine almost broke as I just inserted it and tried to open it up with plastic "bar" visibly twisting in place, although it was not glued. I guess the holes are too small for the ramp holding the round bar, probably design oversight. Also you have to press the sides pretty hard to get into the floor part, where you wonder if you're going to break something, but if you don't press it then you'll have huge gaping holes. I wonder if it would be cool to build a small conversion with open top, like open M113 and marines sticking out.
Reminds me of the very first rhino kit, but without the fiddly rails that went around the exhausts at the top, and adding a whirlwind was a really heavy metal upgrade that made it very back heavy!
I like having both f9r my 40k homebrew chaoter i like to have difernt designs to show they get vehicles from any forge world they can get their hands on the oattent situation also has made me think if getting some third party warhammer styled apcs to class as difernt pattents , i dont play the game i just use it as a creative writing project buy minis and write lore for the8r place in the hombrewed chapter im working on
@@Sup3rSaiy3n Didn't think you'd respond 💀 (but thank you!) I just bought a Battle Group box and as now I'm looking into more Heresy stuff, I was thinking about the Rhino. I waited the whole video for you to bust out an old kit lol😅
Ive always thought the infantry units were oversized, maybe up to 50%, if you think about it it also kind of makes weapon ranges slightly less unbelievably short
Yeah the gaming part of the hobby is usually the reason for the sizes of minis. They try and get them as close as they can but still playable on the tabletop I think.
I believe it is Possible to get twelve in there IF they all lay down on top of each other,,,,just like a sardines can.

My favourite film
This is a nice kit. Gives me a reason to look at getting Deimos Legion-specific doors.

I hear that with the ramp. If I get another one I'll drill too.

Wow 12 capacity in that transport! Hadn't kept up with horus heresy rules so this is a bit of a surprise.
6:53 except in Australia, regular rhinos are aud55 and these ones are aud78!
Yeah I think from now on we can just apply a blanket statement regarding prices in Australia and US
@@Sup3rSaiy3n haha yeah
is it just me or i forgot all about this Rihno-

Good model for inquisition forces as well ...wonders if you can fit storm troopers in that thing
You can't, there's absolutely no space left after 12 space marines entered and now they got stuck inside and can't get out.
When is games workshop going to sell this transport?
I would likely buy 3
Building two now, ngl regret buying the older 40k ones, this kit is a pain to put together.

Would love a Plastic Tube Whirlwind upgrade kit…
And a old style turret gunner Predator
The Razorback used to show the gunner, not the Pred.
How does it scale up in comparison to the 40k Rhino?
Similar size. Not sure why I didnt include it in the size comparison

The M113 will love forever!!
The Rhino at Warhammer World is based on an FV432, rather than an M113.
Just here flexing my warlord Titan badge 😅
It looks Glorious!
Deimos is the smaller of Mars' two moons. (The larger is Phobos.)
"We don't need another Rhino..."
I glue my back doors so it being too tight to open doesnt really bother me tbh.
@peterpickguitar they are chaos marines so they dont mind

never liked the rhino nor the other tanks using the same chassis, except vindicators because of the extra armour.
great review though.🙂
@9:44 That's what she said.
Painfully tight
My flap won't close fully....
I ended up drilling out the sockets a bit and putting small magnets in to hold it shut. Swings freely.
