You seem a little confused about Royals. Here is the breakdown of the Clover Kingdom class system (which is also roughly magical strength order too): 1. At the top, Royals. There are 3 Royal families; Kira, Vermillion and Silva. The King only belongs to one of them, but all 3 are "royalty". Noelle's family is Silva. At this point you've not really seen anything of the other two. However, even with three families, it's safe to assume there aren't many Royals. They're definitely not roaming the countryside destroying villages. 2. Nobles. The majority of Magic Knights are nobles. 3. Commoners. They live nearer the Capital. The villain of this arc was, apparently, a Commoner, despite his posturing. 4. Peasants. Asta, Magna and the villagers in this arc are peasants. They live in the Forsaken Realm, at the edges of the Kingdom.
