This review inspired my friend and I to drive for a half hour and go see this film in the one theater dumb enough to show it. It was glorious!! We made our own review of this too!!
This is a classic midnight screenings episode. Original Airdate: 9/10/2014 This is a MUST SEE episode, especially if you want to understand Brads' inside jokes to it which he makes in later episodes.
+Nishant Singh I actually saw The Oogieloves and The Identical...crap, plain crap but so bad it's good now I want to see Saving Christmas because that one appears to be the worse/best of the bunch.
+Nishant Singh Bro....you can't forget Mr. Popper's Penguins. Absolute gem. I hope Brad uploads it to youtube soon, the thought of never seeing it again breaks my heart
I can't believe you guys forgot the best part, the Zionism scene. You know, where it randomly cuts away to a news broadcast talking about the Six Days War and how America needs to back Israel. It comes out of nowhere and never comes back up again. I had to check with my friend to make sure the scene actually happened and that I didn't just hallucinate it.
Kaefer1973 If I remember correctly, that church scene immediately follows the news broadcast and they talk about it, but it has nothing to do with anything else in the film.
I'm pretty sure that if the real Elvis watched this flick and "Bubba Ho-Tep" he'd prefer the one where Bruce Campbell and black JFK fight a mummy/Dementor creature!
LMAO!!! IM HOWLLLING!!! HAVE MERCY!!!!HANDS DOWN THIS is a top favorite video of mine's!!! I swear to god if I wasn't laughing my head off I was trying not to piss on myself due to the laughing! this movie destroyed you both! LOL! loving these midnight screenings.
Oh hey. Protip: that Hebrew symbol is Chai (pronounced like clearing your throat), and it is supposed to be good luck. Or, it could be Adonai, which is a respectful epithet for the Jewish deity. I forget which is more common on a necklace.
What a twist! An elseworld story with the person from the normal world in the elseworld as well! I assume Elvis and Dreamer were never in the same room elsewise the space time continuing would have started bending. Destroyed their world as it gets sucked up the space anus which would be a problem for the target demographic but it really would have livened the movie up.
I've seen this review several times and I find it funnier everytime. And the movie, as several have said, is on Netflix. I'm actually curious now. Now that Brad says about the trailer, back when I lived in Chicago I saw the trailer in the theater several times.
No my friend, "The Room" is either Kirk Cameron's Saving Christmas, or the less crazy, arguably worse spiritual sequel "Mercy Rule," aka Kirk Cameron's Saving Baseball/the Scrapyard Industry. Oh yes, they're both that bad, and yes, I've seen "The Identical."
You know, I was disappointed with this movie. I thought, "finally! A film about the legendary Elvis soundalike, Jimmy Ellis, otherwise known as Orion!" But no. Shame...
You do realize that this movie was supposed to be a spin-off of Elvis Presley’s Twin Jesse Presley right? Elvis Presley Enterprises was supposed to back the movie and while in the middle of filming, they pulled their licensing so the movie had to scramble and come up with another story. That’s why this turned out the way it is.
Stoned Gremlin Productions My bad, I saw you guys mentioned He looked like Elvis but didn’t know if you guys knew the back story behind why the movie turned out the way it did. Love your videos!

"Because he's Elvis!"
Me: ...*WHAT*!!!
This movie is currently on Netflix. Watch it. It is everything Brad says and MORE.
I saw It on Netflix out of morbid curiosity. I completely agree.
AJMurdoc ditto.

+KamekAdvance This along with Brad's Saving Christmas and Oogieloves is one of the definitive episodes on this series
+Nishant Singh I actually saw The Oogieloves and The Identical...crap, plain crap but so bad it's good now I want to see Saving Christmas because that one appears to be the worse/best of the bunch.

+OddMike it is on youtube somewhere
riff5fki Brad uploaded it a few weeks after I commented :)
No one in town even knew she had twins unless that midwife lady told them making the funeral thing even worse

+andyhoov A big-lipped alligator moment.
Absolutely, and one of the strangest, most political I've ever seen.
+andyhoov
I think it did come up again in a church scene.
Kaefer1973
If I remember correctly, that church scene immediately follows the news broadcast and they talk about it, but it has nothing to do with anything else in the film.
This is one of the best Midnight Screenings episodes ever!
Still funny as hell nearly 7 years later.
"And then it was ten years later, when their son is 18..."
Hang on.
Producers behind this shithole movie: Math? What’s that?
I think the twin concept is meant to be a spin on "What if Jesse Garon Presley lived?"
I think my favorite part of this is that Brad is credited for a role in the movie on IMDB.
+Chaosian01 Is he in the movie?
+Nishant I would imagine not, but take a look for yourself: www.imdb.com/title/tt2326574/fullcredits?ref_=tt_ov_st_sm
Not the same Brad Jones, of course. But it's still a hilarious coincidence.
John Petters
Very much so!
Are we gonna address the part where they broke into a radio station to play paintball
I forgot about that! My god!
Where else would they play paintball?
From the snippets from Brad's past, we keep hearing in these videos, he and his pals must have had quite a wild youth.
I'm pretty sure that if the real Elvis watched this flick and "Bubba Ho-Tep" he'd prefer the one where Bruce Campbell and black JFK fight a mummy/Dementor creature!
because Bubba Ho-Tep is awesome

Better than the actual Cinema Snob episode, at least for me.
One of Brads best looks too.
Dreamland?... wait this movie takes place in the Kirby games?
I witch
I saw this thing in the drama section at a Half Price Books. I don't think I've ever walked away from anything so fast.
You missed out.
I would love to see this movie with clips from Goodfellas spliced in
I want to see a musical version of this.
I think I get the slightest hint that they don't like this movie, but I'm not 100% sure.
Well I'm convinced. It's on Netflix now so I'm headed off to watch it. I really like these reviews, great stuff!
Please do a Cinema Snob episode of this. How amazing would that be?
Worst of the Decade?
Dinese D'Souza said "Challenge Accepted"

I didn't see it here in Richmond
According to Google University, Elvis Himselvis is alive and well.
Tommy Lee Jones told me that the real Elvis was still alive.
However, he had to go home.
Kirsty McColl told me he's working in the local fish and chip shop.
I actualy really like Brad's Elvis impression.
That's not really relevant, I just like it.
Someone uploaded the entire movie on RUclips lmao
18:28 - Brad, please don't bring Elvis Costello into this movie's universe. We'd probably never have got his dad singing the lemonade ad jingle 😅
When are we getting the Cinema Snob review of this comedic gold film?
seems like you just had to wait one more day
+Dark6997 I just saw it! :D

It's not really a sequel, when the movie came out months earlier.
I'm disappointed that nobody has changed the imbd thing to look like it was this Brad Jones.
Rip ray liotta
havent watched this, but it sounds like there was some inspiration from the Eddie and the Cruisers films (which always were big cheesy fun!)
You know, I was disappointed with this movie. I thought, "finally! A film about the legendary Elvis soundalike, Jimmy Ellis, otherwise known as Orion!" But no. Shame...
you're in the movie cinema snob

@@StonedGremlinProductions What a passive aggressive, catty comment. This is how you talk to your fans? Bad form, man.
Of course you'd rather watch Smurfs 2. Smurfs 2 is a great movie.
Christian movies make Ed Wood look like Martin Scorsase
I've never heard of this movie. Based on the description, please tell me this is a comedy.
Dude, Brad! I didn't you went to see movies with Justin Trudeau!
Hey brad, what's going on on the site? I can't watch my videos.
It's hard watching reviews with Jake in them given what went down between them all.
Duffman it's like playing fez
Indeed and much like Fez you could have seen the inevitable destruction from the very beginning.
Oda Swifteye Fez?
I miss Jake
You never met him.
I did too. Then read what he did.
Is Brad really in the movie??
Different brad jones.
His evil twin.
No, his identical twin that his parents faked his death.
Brad, how many of your friends have you gotten fired? Cause I feel like I've heard similar stories from your other cohosts.
Just one, I think.
Are you guys high? This was an awesome movie!
Good one! 😂🤣
That guy is too good looking to be the jerk everybody says he is...
Who?
Jake, huh?
si the grown man with an electric cigarette and the white castle hat didn't like it ????? wow...
