@@SCALE_SLOTCARS must have missed that, sorry. Yes, Slotinvasion or Frankenslot offer those guides. But you could also try to lower the front by using smaller front tires. You can also reduce the diameter on your front wheels
@slotcardude68 those fronts are not holding the car off the track Nico so I rekon its the guide ...I look to see if I can order those alterative guides ...thanks Nico 👍

Interesting break-in process. Without being a slot car guy, I had never heard of using toothpaste on these things before! And that's a classic David Mann picture on your wall too. 😆
@CK4RC yea been a bike rider all my life 🙂 used to get Easyrider mag every month .The toothpaste trick is well know in slotcar circles because some motors can't really be adjusted , Appreciate you watching and commenting mate 👍

Interesting video.. it's all about a process.. for your own ideas of truing. I use sewing machine oil. And fishing reel oil... yup tooth paste works fine ..thanks for sharing..

Loved the video Harry, nothing like a new/old Fly car and some toothpaste. Try removing the tyres and grind the wheels a bit. The plastic wheels on Fly cars often has some excess plastic from the mold that can easilly be removed with a file.
@leiftoudal7996 Thank you mate ...ile have a look at the wheels later. I never thought of that 🙂 it's already fun as is, but we always want that bit extra 😁🤗
@@SCALE_SLOTCARS The thing is that that remnant from the wheel mold makes the tyre sit wobbly on the wheel, so removing it may reduce the wobble significantly and make truing easier and more effective.
@leiftoudal7996 ile have a look at those wheels again tomorrow. But I did also notice that they didn't sit properly on the Axles . Thank you again 🙂
Very nice review Harry. I especially liked the oral hygiene performance enhancer. Just another tink 👀to look at while tinkering which I have encountered are that the axles are perfectly straight.That will cause wobble mania and truing the tyres a non event if on said axles👍🏻

put the front tyres on the rear and true a mill or so till the front is lower that might work if unable to find a replacement guide
@TEGSLOT-RACING hey Daniel....the front tyres sit well above the chassis so they have no bearing on the guide blade unfortunately 😕 I rekon a guide blade will sort it and of course like you said some serious truing of the fronts and Rears too 👍
It is nice looking! What I used to do for my box stock racing class back in the day, when you use the toothpaste method it will get dry just add a small drop of water on the bgears every once in a while to make it more easy on the motor and then ad more past later on and water using this method puts much less strain on the motor. and for box stock what I did with stock tires and plastic wheels..I think I may have a video but first i use a little dab of super glue and put it on the inside bead of the tire, just a small bit so the tires cant spin on the wheels and also put a line with a paint marker in the inside of the tire bead and right on the wheel and do this on the other tire and wheel right across from the mark you made on the other one... let me explain your probably like WTF is he talking about... You do the lines on the sidewall going right down on the wheel and directly across you do the same to the other one so you have a marker both tires and wheel marks line up with each other so when you true them or after when you race them you can look at those marks and if they are not all lined up you know your wheel spun on the axle or your tire spun on the wheel and you can set it all back perfectly to how it was all aligned when you had it set up perfect and all true. ... Long as hell but hope it could help ya!
@BSslotcars hey Steve 🤗 yes I did mix the toothpaste with water 💧 🙂 that's a good idea on the tyre paint ...I know exactly what you mean ...if I had a proper tyre truer this would be an excellent step in watching if your tyre had moved from it truing point 👍Thanks Steve ..excellent stuff 🤗
