    I purchased a bronze one of these in 2003 and promptly sold it with 750 miles on the clock !! Far too manic. The exhaust had a "cmon cmon cmon" sound, the bike was far too light, would wheely unintentionally at any speed including top gear and was a threat to getting to old age. I went back to a Blackbird which was much more sensible. Now that I have reached old age, have, last week, gone and ordered a Fireblade. Here we go again !!!

    04 1000 my first bike ever. not a hard bike to learn on. extremely powerful and planted. the bike's far more capable then 99.9% of anyone could ever tap into. For $5k you can feel the most absurd speed known to mere mortals. I want 5 more

      Nice, im checking out a 03 k3 1000 tomorrow silver model with 5.7k miles. He’s asking $5,400. It’s mint, is that a good deal? I was thinking maybe $4,500-$4,800

      I had almost 60K on mine, rode pretty hard, and still ran great until it drowned in a hurricane 😢. I don’t know why this guy gave it only 7 outta 10 for reliability 🤷‍♂️

      @@WatWarrior22 the bike is a total joy. I use it for adrenaline therapy. I recommend getting it an 03 year in 04. Do five's and 06 is claimed to be the best but they're a lot smaller. I like a little bit bigger bike. Mine is a 03 with 18000 miles for thirty-four hundred bucks get one while you can

      @@brianbrooks5947 No doubt about it you hit the nail on the head. These bikes will age like fine wine, especially as people continue to crash them and the ones with original plastic become scarce. To me the less electronics the better. Got my K3 with 30K miles for $2900. This is after owning a K1 1000, K2 1000, 954rr, three k1-k3 750s, and K7 600(which I still have).

      @saulocpp 4 года назад

      @@bigjam8429 No Suzuki bike ever retired from an endurance race by engine collapse since the introduction of the GSX in 1980. More than 50% of all FIM endurance races were won by a Suzuki bike. The GSX is the most overbuilt motorcycle engine in existence, people like it or not. The K3/K4 are generally considered the most comfortable Rs produced, I had one and long trips on it was as easy as on a RF900. These scores are completely random, don't let it put you down.
