Copying to Flash Drive
Steps:
1. Flash Drive 8, 16 or 32 GB
2. Format it on the FAT32 file system
3. Extract the archive you downloaded and paste all the files into the root directory of the flash drive
4. Done!
Steps activation code (requires JAVA installed):
- How to install JAVA - www.java.com/e...
1. Download generator.jar from here: drive.google.c...
2. Open generator.jar and write your car's VIN number.
3. Select the CCT.DAT.inf file from the ROOT directory of the flash drive.
4. Press Generate.
5. Record it on a sheet of paper or shoot it with your phone.
Card Update (already in the car):
1. We start the engine! ALL UPDATES ARE STARTED WITH ENGINE ON AND WITHOUT TURNING OFF!
IN THE HYBRID VERSION THE ENGINE IS STARTED AGAIN, BUT NOT PROBLEM IF THE CAR SWITCH ON A BATTERY!!!
2. Put the flash drive (USB port is inside the armrest)
3. The car itself recognizes that there are card updates
4. With the help of the roller you go to the Update Map in the middle.
5. With the roller you confirm and most likely you will be asked for an Activation Code.
enter it and a list of maps comes out
6. Choose which area you are from to update and confirm.
7. After completing an update of a card (one card is updated in about 20-30 minutes.)
To return to the list, press the Back button
DONE!

I got the following error "Check your mapping database and/or your DRM" at first attempt.
I solved my problem after I added 1 more step in between.
So if you got the same error, you can try my solution.
After you copy all the files to your usb drive, don't use the generator yet.
You will see maps with different SMEG version.
SMEG_UP, SMEG_PLUS_UPG and SMEG_IV2_UPG
You need to know witch version SMEG system u have.
Each generation cars using different version.
For example you have the first generation. Then u need some files inside the SMEG_UPG.
If you have SMEG+. Then you need SMEG_PLUS_UPG map.
Go into the map and the sub map.
You will find two files named CCT.DAT and CCT.DAT.inf.
Copy those files to the root of your USB drive and rewrite the existed files.
Now you can use the generator program.

Thank you. worked great ! For Speedcam update, you just need to unzip all files in the root folder of USB drive, plug the disk into the car and start the engine.

Confirming that this procedure is working for Peugeot 2008 (2013)! But I have another issue. I have message that zone is not mapped, and I'm not able to use navigation even after I got my maps updated.
Worked perfectly on my 2011's 508sw for Spain/Portugal maps.

I own a 2015 508 SW. If anyone is having issues you can try this. After plugging in the usb you get the checking system and after that checking compatibility screen. After it dissapears, manualy go to navigation, then under options select maps. You will see a picture of a continent, in my case europe with different regions. If you touch a region it tells you which version of the maps you have. On the screen there is a search button. Press it and it will show you the maps you have on the usb drive. Select which one you want to update and you are done. The french making things as obtuse as possible 🙂 Also thanks to the person who made this video .
Hi. I try to update map but it was unsuccessful. SW in my P308 (2015) is SMEG5.2.A.R9, map version: DbDw_281Gr_406 CD:26028. After checking for update I select map which I want to install, and then I put generated key, after that nothing happend. Any suggestion?

There is an issue with the SMEG+ CCT.DAT file I think - it looks like it is the same as the SMEG CCT.DAT file and thus for whatever reason when generating a code it just won't get past the DRM/Activation screen. Guess might have to wait for the next update to see if its different.

The link you provided is not good.. i clicked the link and was downloaded a folder "PSA_ovip-int-firmware-version_21-08-25-12_NAC-r0_NAC_EUR_WAVE2" with a single folder named "SWL".. and is not the same as that is your video.. help please !!!
It didn't work on my Peugeot RXH 2015 Hybrid4...It checks the USB displaying the message "Checking compatibility" but nothing happens 30min after and there is no option to select update maps or anything at all...
sorry for that, sometimes on some cars it doesn't work, it depends on a lot of things, software version and so on

I have upgraded map with your method. And also upgraded firmware to 2.86 with a disk and iso folder. To able to upgrade firmware write the iso of 2.86 an empty CD. Just put CD and confirm everything. Keep engine running. Good luck. Thanks. Have a good life :)

Hi my car keep saying Media unreadable on my USB stick, I used 3 USBsticks so far, 16, 32 and 64 GB all formatted in FAT32. Do you have a solution for this?
I have no idea what it can be. There is no way I can remotely understand what it can be. Look for a colleague with such a car that has a flash drive and it has been successful and try with his, if not then it means something is in your car. Look for information about your issue on brand forums what it could be. Maybe in Facebook groups.

@@MaxymusBre If your machine is not RT6, but SMEG/SMEG+/other, then you dont use the CCT.dat.inf from root, but from SMEG_UPD/data or whatever your version of navigation is. I had to use one for SMEG+, RT6 didn't work.

Also, I’ve followed the update in the description about SMEG version, I’ve tried both ways, but still nothing happens when I plug in the USB. Is there anything you can advise me regarding this? I have the same problem, but actually that is no problem cause everything you have to do is go to upload map and it will show indetifing MEDIA and you should wait around a few minutes and it will upload usb and after that you can choose which map you want to install… That how I made it. And its works😊
Hello. I was trying to install the upgrade but after 70 min nothing. After the message with the compatibility disappeared the navigation was normally for 70 minutes and after that I've stopped trying. Why doesn't work.?what can go wrong? I have an 508 SW 2015... Thank you.

As far as I know, this is the latest update. If there is another I will post it here. This is a 2021 update, I think it works on a Citroen DS5.

I tried in 308 2016. After entering the activation code, it showed a message of checking, then after a second it came back to the maps. Any leads?
I guess it's not compatible with your car. try with another flash drive.
Are the speed cameras visible on the map after update?
I'm not very sure, but I think there is an additional update for that

How do you update the GPS maps for a Peugeot 308 SW 2010 car ? There are no USB ports on the radio unit, only the SD cart slot. 😕
Do I just get myself (e.g.) an empty 16 GB SD card & copy the files onto that & follow the rules mentioned in the description or... ? 😞

I'm not sure it will work on this car. It's not on the list and I doubt it will. But I'm not 100% sure.
Hı ı have a 2020 308 styletech vehicle... Navigation only works with androıd auto connected with a cable. Can ı have a permanent navigation with this way if ı download this or is it not possıble?

Or the software version is not for this update or there is no room for new maps, sometimes this is a problem too. It can be from many things.
Try my solution. I commented above.
And check you VIN code if its correct or no.
