guys if it doesn't work on controller it's because you're using default controls and pressing that doesn't make it fast enough. for xbox the only controls you need to change is the drop kick and jump, so you just rebind jump to *Rb* and dropkick to *Lb* (or do jump LB and dropkick RB) so now you can do it faster so it should work better. (idk what i'm talking about but it does work for the first how to fling tutorial)
Have you flung a player before ? I did it today somehow in the ruins gas arena idk what I did I charged and somehow threw him over the out of bounds area…it was hilarious
Hey y,all I made a fatal error on the instruction which def messed up people's inputs so I ended up having to reupload the video. The correction I've made was when you should RELEASE the punch button which is immediately before you Jump>Kick, so it should be a swift motion of releasing punch, then hitting jump, then hitting kick all in that succession. Sorry bout that! On top of that I also have a rebounded button layout in order to input these moves much easier and I'm making a separate video regarding that (but if you can't wait for the video, I use a ps5 controller and rebounded Punch = Square, Jump = X and kick = Circle) Edit: People who are trying Mouse+Keyboard, just a fair warning it is WAYY more difficult to perform the launch, you'll be looking for the 'tossing' button on your keyboard (which is 'J' for me) hold that down to 'charge' the throw. also apparently the 'charge/tossing' button is also bounded to your kick button (right click by default ) which overlaps your other inputs/timing and may cause issues towards timing. I'd suggest rebinding your kick button to F or something close to your movement keys and practice on the timing/inputs with that scheme (personally I couldn't figure it out all too well, I only pulled it off once out of like 30 tries) so my honest opinion is if you have a compatible controller, I'd highly suggest switching to that instead (plus overall, it's just a better/easier button setup to play the game, the analog sticks alone helps so much with camera control).

I tried multiple times and I constantly failed at every single one of em. How do you not jump kick and land into the water? My guy always seems to launch itself into the river and I couldn't get my guy to kick the ball as high as you did in the video. Am I not fast enough lol?
The part where you have to be super quick is the jump-kick (like a millisecond quick) also standing behind the object when you do it will keep you in place, think of it like your character is a marble and the object is another marble, you’re transferring your force from yourself to that object so if you don’t launch it head on, your character will end up throwing himself over off to the sides while the object didn’t receive any of that force applied. Trust me, when I first discovered it, took me like 50 tries before I figured out the core concepts and timing to it! Hope this helps Edit: oh also I have another video that shows my controller button setup along with displaying live inputs for both flinging and launching, demonstrating how much easier it is to pull em off with those new bindings!

Never managed! You might’ve discovered somethin!! Recreate and make a video!!!!
Figured out an easier method just need to swing then press jump release both throw and jump and just headbut/kick

I did this with controller, but I’ve heard people pulling it off with keyboard but I find it reallly difficult
