Important note about the "cheese product placement." When this short was made, Wensleydale cheese was about to go out of business, but their name being mentioned in Wallace and Gromit suddenly lead to an increase in interest, and the company was saved! We still have Wensleydale today thanks to Wallace and Gromit.
3:52 the cheese product placements should be justified since Wallace is a cheese connoisseur. it stands to reason for him to know his cheese really well.
+MasterJunior93 Of course. The point I was making was that it wouldn't slide by the audience especially well... if it wasn't done so brilliantly, as I say mere moments later.
2:02 I think this is supposed to be a parody of a brand of matches called swan vestas, not only are they named after a water fowl but the box is similar to swan boxes
You know, I've always wandered about that hull breach too. Even in this fictional world, the rocket would still burn up on re-entry with that gawping great hole in the side. Would have made more sense if there had been a hatch on the lower part of the hull, which the cooker jimmied open, then it blew shut after the cooker was blown away from the rocket. It's worth noting that the rocket does have a hatch on the lower hull in "World Of Invention". it should have had it here. Also, if you look carefully when the cooker is feeling for the matches, you can see a half-eaten sandwich. Nice touch there!
1:06 - That is not true. Listen to the beginning of the film (Wallace’s first line). He claims it was the bank holiday. That means all of the shops are shut for that, meaning no market was open. Still, great video though.
Thank you so much Cartoon Karma! I love Wallace and Gromit. They are best cartoon characters ever. This from Virginia. I love your videos Cartoon Karma. ☺❤📚🐦🐢🐞
That's very nice of you to say. Love that you loved these other videos of mine, truly. Makes it worthwhile and all that, you know. And I think one shouldn't be able to NOT love Wallace and Gromit; they and their world are that joyous.
that robot also reminds me of mettaton from undertale...(yeah bad fandom blahblahblah!) but jesus he's so cute and pure...wish they coul've of brought him back to earth...
+munromister777 See the channel's Facebook and Twitter pages, where I explicitly stated the publish date for the video. I've been working on the video ever since I hit 100 subs. Expect it to go live tomorrow.
+munromister777 Ah, I thought you were referring to the next subscriber special, which this video stated would come at 100 subscribers, and you were subtly asking where it was. I actually only hit 100 subscribers 11 days ago - I didn't account for a notable traffic spike! Thanks anyway, and here's to further milestones!
+APHAN TX Thanks, good sir. While my subscriber base is decent considering I only started in late September, it hasn't translated into proportionate views yet. People aren't impressed enough with a channel this small currently. I think people are not willing to take a chance and subscribe to a channel this new and small unless there's an incentive. Subscribers specials are that incentive. Doesn't hurt that I love Wallace and Gromit regardless. Thanks for being here!
+Mr. Oscar Bradley II I didn't forget. There's a shot or two between those two points. Not unreasonable for Gromi's tiredness to catch up with him in that time period. Same reason I didn't highlight him being in a different chair when Wallace calls him - it's perfectly plausible for him to have switched. If there's a perfectly logical explanation for a goof, I rarely bother with it.
Cartoon Karma: HAH! Love it (drawing of Gromit on Wallace's table). Me: Me too! Cartoon Karma: And then a thief robbed their house while they were gone. Me: Feathers Mcgraw?! From Virginia Clark 😀🐕🐧🐇🎄
+Roger O'Donnell So it was. The resemblance is quite uncanny. It was probably changed to be a parody that wouldn't cost money to do. Well spotted, viewer. Thankfully, I future-proofed that point in the video against it being potentially discovered, so the video isn't any the worse for it.
Indeed. Since the project started as a film school exercise it was a cheap visual gag.something most people miss is the Alien ref as the robot is ejected.
The narrator is right. How would the rocket 🚀 get back with a hole 🕳 in it? The cold 🥶 of space would likely freeze 🥶 the inner workings and prevent it from working, thus preventing our heros 🦸♂️ 🦸♂️ from getting home 🏠. Or some other things.
Bad Karma: Wallace and Gromit didn't have any trouble breathing on the moon. (Then again, is this any more of a problem for scientific accuracy than the whole made-of-cheese thing?)
+Joshua Lamb (KorliWolf) Wouldn't want to hit these special milestones too fast, otherwise the episodes would happen too often to really be special. Besides, I'm over halfway there already, I'll hit 100 at the end of January or thereabouts.
+CARTOON KARMA, WE LOVE YOU, FRIEND !
+CARTOON KARMA, YOU GO, FRIEND !

I love this episode so much. After re watching it, I couldn't help feel sad for the Moon Robot when he wasn't able to go to Earth.

I THINK THAT WALLACE AND GROMIT IS MY FAVORITE SHORT FILMS.
I JUST LOVE WALLACE AND GROMIT'S GRAND ADVENTURES.
Laughing myself to death hearing Preston's repeated growl LOL
Budgetary reason? This was a student film...
Kiwi but Aardman Animations company helped bring Nick Park's vision into a reality now that he had the resources he needed to do so
So one ☝️ point of negative 👎 karma can be taken off.
1:10 It is a bank holiday all the shops are closed
I THINK THAT SOMETIMES WALLACE AND GROMIT HAS SO MUCH TIME ABOUT THEIR ADVENTURES.
1:06 - That is not true. Listen to the beginning of the film (Wallace’s first line). He claims it was the bank holiday. That means all of the shops are shut for that, meaning no market was open. Still, great video though.

i remember this episode with more quality xD nostalgia glasses ofc. childhood right there
I don’t care what the score is this is the best movie I’ve watch it timeless
3:52 Wensleydale.
I saw this back in middle school
that robot also reminds me of mettaton from undertale...(yeah bad fandom blahblahblah!) but jesus he's so cute and pure...wish they coul've of brought him back to earth...
It's January 30th, and it's 252 subs now. glad to be here!
+munromister777 See the channel's Facebook and Twitter pages, where I explicitly stated the publish date for the video. I've been working on the video ever since I hit 100 subs. Expect it to go live tomorrow.
I wasn't asking for a video, I was just being excited for you. Celebration! :D

I thought it was going to be positive for a second there to.
The reason why the coin didn't immediately register is because the robot was probably there for quite a while
Congratulations! I'll be here for your 100 sub special.

I WISH I COULD HAD A GRAND DAY OUT.
I used to have all three episodes on one video as well as sort of documentary afterwards. ❤ Virginia Clark
The the memories my boii 😤😤😤👏👏👏👏👏
Perhaps, in the explosion, the robots meter broke and so it stuck at the value it was currently at? its too sad to think otherwise :(
You forgot about how one scene Gromit was awake reading a book then in another scene he was dozing off at the beginning.
+Mr. Oscar Bradley II I didn't forget. There's a shot or two between those two points. Not unreasonable for Gromi's tiredness to catch up with him in that time period. I actually love W&G
I hope 🤞 the feature film 🎞 is covered.
Duck was a nod to Swan Vestas Matches.
+Roger O'Donnell So it was. The resemblance is quite uncanny. It was probably changed to be a parody that wouldn't cost money to do. Well spotted, viewer. Thankfully, I future-proofed that point in the video against it being potentially discovered, so the video isn't any the worse for it.

can you make a video about cure of the ware rabbit?
Duck are a real brand of matches, but they're called swan instead
I came here after the death of Peter Sallis
Good good 😊
+rene rodriguez (xray19) Thank you, friend. Many thanks indeed.
That makes me feel sad. at 5:48😟😯
I LIKE TO WATCH THREE WALLACE AND GROMIT SHORT FILMS.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
you said a thief robbed their house while they were gone but i never saw a thief robed their house wile they were gone how did you know that
It was more based on the fact that their basement was left open, along with the door into their house from there.
4:51 and 2:22
shouldn't have gone from 25 subs to 100, 50 would be sensible and easier to reach, and could possibly get you to 100 faster.
+Joshua Lamb (KorliWolf) Wouldn't want to hit these special milestones too fast, otherwise the episodes would happen too often to really be special. Besides, I'm over halfway there already, I'll hit 100 at the end of January or thereabouts.
+CartoonSins ya that is true.
U sound Irish
Yay series rip offs
+ElectroNeon HD A lot of people do it, theres nothing wrong with it.
