Why adjective clauses must be after noun/pronoun/subject? I mean adjectives are usually before nouns and what i understood adjective clauses are treated like one big adjective

Specifically at 24 minutes and 15 seconds you are using relative adverbs like When, Where etc., to replace nouns and hence creating a relative clause or adjective clause. I hope that it is helpful.

Please, can you make a video about the subjunctive, and what's the difference between these sentences?
I recommend that he go to school.
I recommend his going to school.
I recommend to him to go to school.
I recommend him to go to school.

    • @BreakingEnglish

Yes, I can do a subjunctive video. That's a good idea.
Those sentences are all similar. The first one is the most academic and formal and is a recommendation for someone to do something.
The second recommends someone do an activity, which us going to school, so the idea is the same as the first.

have a doubt about this. you've mentioned that an adjective clause must be just next to a noun that it's describing. However, here in this example, taken from one of the Cali colleges, Q. I cannot find the man from the repair shop. He helped me fix my car yesterday.
Ans. I cannot find the man from the repair shop that helped me fix my car yesterday.
I wonder why the ans adjective clause has been written after the prepositional phrase 'from the repair shop'. it should've been right next to the noun being described, shouldn't it?

He ran away. I know why.
-> With adj clause: I know why he ran away.
Is this a correct use of adj clause? Describing/ modifying the noun "he".
