I been hosting game servers for a long time and this issue is nothing new. If you keep your server public with no password, sure anyone can join but you will also get the trash of the internet. I always found it best to password protect them.
So basically, activists are attacking the game servers themselves. The strange thing ever since 2019, is that activism is on the rise but they are backed by corporations.
the same thing happened to my dedicated server, luckily i was online, all players got banned and i turned off the server, deleted the banlist and set up a password for the server. I cant imagine what kind of people do something like this.
Welp, dregs of the internet who thought it's their mission to "send a message" to companies who they thought are "doing something wrong" are always around to ruin stuff.
@@daherox I mean, it's not like there's not a possibility. I know politicians who hire people on the internet to share their posts and put positive messages on their posts and the opposite on their enemies so it's not like it's not on the realm of possibility but that's just speculation at best lol.
Have not experienced it solo but two of the three servers im on which one is password protected have been hit. The rp server im on has been hit twice and has a password and then another one that is just pve with friends have been hit. I know that one is Nitrato that my friends use and not sure what the rp server uses. It has gotten to the point since we didnt have back ups going that im just waiting till they are bored and leave.
Wait? You experience a server that was hit while it was password protected? Man these hackers are probably brute-forcing their way in. These hackers sound like they got a lot for free time. I am just glad that nitrado was able to setup auto backup once a day.
and as a hacker you will be judged on what and when you play games. No dev in the history of the gaming industry wants you to play their game if all you do is cheat. so unfortunately we can tell you that you shouldnt be playing and the perma bans will ensue. Spoofers wont do shit in the next coming months as a group of people i know who are connecting the cheating scene are working on a project that will end all the spoofing and ect. (NOTE: In no way shape or form am i affiliated with the group of people making this, i just happen to know one of them. i Dont know all the details but that ip/hardware spoofing is going to be a thing of the past since there are other ways to find out if your hardware/ip is spoofed.)
It was just a rented server we just got. We were still new to setting it up. Only had it for like 3 days 🤷♂️. But in the video I did mention I was able recovered it and restore the backups. and made sure to place a password.
Ofcourse the woke main stream is pissed about PalWorld because it is actually a good game vs the pro-noun garbage being pushed down everyone's throats from west game developers....

It was a lesson learn on my end. Good thing is I was able to restore with a backup and ended up putting a password. The trash of the internet 😭😭
sounds more like Nintenduu hitmans !
That was my first thought. It was so random ☠️
Ironically these hackers are prob the most pathetic excuse for hackers I've seen then don't even have the ability to hide their actions.
It was actually so strange to just start attacking anyone with a server. Even a small server with less than 4 players. Like what’s the point ☠️

I am not surprise of this is happening. All we want to do is just enjoy the game.

What server host were you using? I didn’t even know my server was getting hack till my friends emergency called me. 😭
@@daherox i host it on my server machine at home. So they target everyone without a server password setup
@@XLordMarsX damn. That’s so crazy. Did you had to redo your whole server?
From what he said it's Nintendo fanatics, these people are sick.
Nintendo sending hitmen 👀

For reals. Do you really think these companies are doing this in the shadows? We just want to have fun 😭

I played today official and someone drop end game weapon at the first day of the server in the end he just exploded everyone base
Holy cow! What happen to the server after that? Did it got lock or everyone couldn’t access it anymore?
How did they hack this game in the first place?
I'm guessing the devs need to fix their anti-hack detection, And one day hackers just decide to hit everyone.
your server should have auto backups... revert to a backup, problem solved. most server hosts have it auto create backup's.
Yes! I was able to force shutdown the server and restored a backup. Lesson learn we put a password up.
That’s rough, did you have your server listed? No password?
It was a lesson learn. I just got the sever not even 3 days and already got hack. In the end I was able to restore and put a password.
"You shouldn't be playing" and you're not the judge of what I should and shouldn't do as a hacker... Lol
Hopefully you have backups
It was so weird. It felt like we got send in by hitmen. Lol. There was a backup made prior to the attack. Which I was grateful for 😭

Had to stop 30 seconds in, you have bad security and were punished for it. Do better.
