I have had the greatest honour in meeting this man face to face. We had a lovely conversation. I worked at the theatre for quite a while he played at my place of work. Well we had a nice chat. He is the most genuine person I have ever met in my life. What you see is exactly what you get. The warmest person the most genuine person I have known god bless you my friend
We went to see Charlie on his Farewell Tour at Eastbourne last week...I had listened to his music before, as my Mother and my late Father loved his music...A beautiful soul with a beautiful voice, and a gifted wordsmith. It was a great show with 3 fantastic backing musicians...Enjoy your retirement Charlie, and thank you for the music.

I work at the Blackburn Empire Theatre. I was very fortunate to go backstage and Meet Charlie. And I have seen many many artists perform and I have met many many artist. But I've never met a more genuine warm-hearted welcoming person in my life he shot my hand give me a hug and took my phone number for some reason I still don't know why but that was more than happy to meet the man. I am not a religious person. But listening to Charlie what is warm soft voice and is all mannerism message realised I must be a godl to create such a man as charlie. Stories to tell. And what he was saying he has led a colourful life with him and his brothers. Some very funny stories . I just read his book and it makes you think twice or how you been living your life. He really does have a genuine heart. I close up you can see the love in his eyes. He asked for his fellow man. I feel blessed and honoured but I have got the Good Fortune of me to Charlie up close and had a really nice 121 talk. Thank you Charlie and God bless
