@@casshernsins8333 7 pull ups with proper form is really good. Progress is really slow. I could do 32 when I was 60kg, years went by and I was 99kg could only do 1;/ Now went back to 80 and can do 9. And last 3 months its still around 7-9;/
I know this video is already 3 years old, but just in case someone might read this, as a longtime calisthenics guy, I want to first say this is awesome to see and I love your dedication. Now, here are a few things to keep in mind to avoid confusion and speed up the process. The resistance bands are great, but not many people realize they don’t remove the same weight throughout the range of motion; the more stretched they are, the more resistance they provide. So, it will make the lower part of the movement easier, but it will be harder near the top part. This is great for helping you get stronger overall, but to have a solid pull-up with full control and strength through the full range of motion, you want to also supplement with a few other exercises. One of them is focusing on grip strength, as that’s usually the first part to get exhausted in pull-ups. For example, practice "dead hangs," where you hang from the bar with no bands for as long as you can. Work up to about a minute of holding time to build a solid grip. Another important exercise is scapular pull-ups, as the scapula is the first part that lifts you from a "dead hang" to an "active hang." Just google scapular pull-ups to see a demonstration. Next, work on slow, controlled "negatives," where you jump up to the bar, starting as high as you can with your chin above the bar, and slowly lower yourself down. Then let go and start again. The eccentric part of the exercise is where most of the strength is built. Also, practice hanging still at the top range of motion, with your chin above the bar, and hold that position for as long as you can. If you practice all of these, you will have good-form, strong pull-ups in no time.

I started to get into pull ups, this reminded me what it was like to get to my first pull up. I must admit that you make this progress very entertaining with your personality and your amazing cat! Loved the video!
It was so irritating. I had been lifting for a few months but I still couldn't do a pull up. I started attempting and practicing for several hours each day. I went from doing 1 unassisted pull-up to 10 within a week. I started with the neutral grip which is much easier than a standard grip. He would've advanced much quicker had he started with a neutral grip but he got there none the less.
Pull up require a comfy grip, gripping on doors frame is really hard, yet I can't afford the custom one, since then I stop it and focus on push-up instead

@@LongBug By the way, I am average height (180cm), and very skinny (65kg). It took me 12 months off hard work, to eat my way to putting on weight, upto 95kg. At that time, I couldn't do 1 Pull-up. But I quickly progressed into doing 8 with good form. The secret is Eccentric Descent. You need to jump up to the bar, all the way to the top and hold yourself using your back muscles. Do that for 10 seconds it is difficult. Then after 10 seconds you need to lower yourself by 30cm and hold again. Again holding for 10 seconds it is hard. Then lower yourself again, and hold. When you get to the bottom, hop off. You will get very tired. But you will stimulate your nerves, tendons, and muscles. After doing that, if you feel like you are not tired, do the same thing again. Do it until you can do it 3-times without resting. When your body starts adapting, you can then increase the difficulty. Now hold yourself for 30-seconds, and lower yourself by 20cm, and repeat it 5-times. It is very difficult but it is the most efficient way to increase strength for doing Pull-ups. Once you are at this level your body is strong enough to do at least 2 Pull-ups with good form and without bands. Here you can just focus on doing this until you can do at least x10 Pull-ups quickly. LongBug you will get there because you are strong and have discipline. And at that stage you will be in the top 10% of strength of every human in the whole world. You may laugh at me because I included babies, old people, women, sick people, and very obese people, but it's still good to laugh and enjoy a healthy body. The next stage for you is to do a "Muscle Up" and these are very difficult. If you can do this you're in the Top 1% without a doubt.
견갑골 패킹하는 이유는 풀업하기 위해 기초근력이 필요한데, 부족할 경우 이두, 어깨를 이용해서 당기다보니 어깨 인대 다칠 가능성 많습니다. 그래서 패킹을 하고 당겨야 어깨 부담이 줄어듭니다. 참고로 풀업의 첫단계는 당기는게 아니라 위에서 버티는 힘이 길러져야 다치지 않고 당기기 가능합니다. 밴드를 이용해서 최고점에 올라가 최대한 버티면서 조금씩 내려오는 방법으로 연습하셔야 다치지않고 빠르게 발전가능합니다. (지나가던 115kg)

바닥에서부터 홀로 기어 사투를 벌여 일어나본 사람은, 이전과 다른 버전이 됨. 설령 매너리즘와서 해당 부분이 다시 과거로 퇴보했다 순간 여길 수 있겠지만 그렇지 않음. 이미 다시 돌아갈 수 없는 다른 버전의 사람이 되고 보이는 세계도 달라져 있음.

@@LongBug By the way, I am average height (180cm), and very skinny (65kg). It took me 12 months off hard work, to eat my way to putting on weight, upto 95kg. At that time, I couldn't do 1 Pull-up. But I quickly progressed into doing 8 with good form.
The secret is Eccentric Descent. You need to jump up to the bar, all the way to the top and hold yourself using your back muscles. Do that for 10 seconds it is difficult. Then after 10 seconds you need to lower yourself by 30cm and hold again. Again holding for 10 seconds it is hard. Then lower yourself again, and hold. When you get to the bottom, hop off. You will get very tired. But you will stimulate your nerves, tendons, and muscles.
After doing that, if you feel like you are not tired, do the same thing again. Do it until you can do it 3-times without resting. When your body starts adapting, you can then increase the difficulty. Now hold yourself for 30-seconds, and lower yourself by 20cm, and repeat it 5-times. It is very difficult but it is the most efficient way to increase strength for doing Pull-ups. Once you are at this level your body is strong enough to do at least 2 Pull-ups with good form and without bands. Here you can just focus on doing this until you can do at least x10 Pull-ups quickly. LongBug you will get there because you are strong and have discipline. And at that stage you will be in the top 10% of strength of every human in the whole world. You may laugh at me because I included babies, old people, women, sick people, and very obese people, but it's still good to laugh and enjoy a healthy body.
The next stage for you is to do a "Muscle Up" and these are very difficult. If you can do this you're in the Top 1% without a doubt.

풀업하기 위해 기초근력이 필요한데,
부족할 경우 이두, 어깨를 이용해서 당기다보니 어깨 인대 다칠 가능성 많습니다.
그래서 패킹을 하고 당겨야 어깨 부담이 줄어듭니다.
참고로 풀업의 첫단계는 당기는게 아니라
위에서 버티는 힘이 길러져야
다치지 않고 당기기 가능합니다.
밴드를 이용해서 최고점에 올라가
최대한 버티면서 조금씩 내려오는 방법으로 연습하셔야 다치지않고
빠르게 발전가능합니다.
