Really makes you wonder which is his true personality. Is he the fun loving and actually kind of annoying goofball that he is at school. Or is he normally be reserved and quiet individual? He is at home? Honestly, the very first time I saw this change it was really jarring. I’ve also read that. I think it was in the manga that due to his behavior at home his sister actually started to think that he didn’t like her.
Is that really a question? Home is the one place most people can relax. People's true colors come out when we look at how they treat their families. That's doubly true in Japanese culture because they have the concept of honne and tatemae. Obviously, his true self is the version he shows his family.

I really love the dynamic of this anime, we all have a side we show to people outside the comfort of our own home and this was a good dive into that mindset. I am pretty introverted but outside of my home I try to be friendly and approachable where as when I'm home and comfortable, it's time for my social batteries to recharge and I barely speak a word

That teacher must be the average Japanese guy. I live in Japan and there’s a good portion of people which mind set is: “since is too much hassle to do it, it must be impossible, better being realistic and give up” and yup, there is that kind of people in Japan too, like in the rest of the world

Both are good in their own way I guess. Horimiya got a straight forward plot, had little romance drama, and a lot more side characters story. While Dress Up Darling shows the dynamic between MC and FMC, the character development about these two, and basically an adventure with these 2 as the centre
Well other than being romance anime they don't have anything else in common. So like.... no one compares them. Also the fan service contributes a lot cz weebs are damn horny all the time lol.
The duality of his character is one of the defining traits of the series.
Honestly this show nails the sibling dynamic, this is exactly how it feels to be an older sibling
