    You use just about everything I use in my studio. I bought an oversized chair and have a portable massager. I use an old fashion dish pan as my foot bowl. It’s very big for the guys and I just add hot water if they like. I have the same water warmer pot. I love your lil set up😉

    Put a mat under the footsie to bring down the vibration noise.

    I have the same exact chair but in beige. You should have 2 black plastic bars that looks like handles to something that came with the chair. It has a curved edge on one side.
    It's used to place at the bottom where it fits in place to the screws. This way when you pull open the bottom, it stops it like a door stopper and works for those clients that have shorter legs.

      Good to know!! I did not have anything extra come with my chair. Are they already attached?? & also the outlet that is on the back, are you able to use it? I have a cord sticking out (it looks like it needs to be plugged in somewhere) but I don’t know where it is supposed to attach.

    Is the warmer just a kettle ? That’s such a smart idea I’m trying to figure out how to maintain my water warm for my clients while doing pedis

    • @Becab_
      @Becab_  2 года назад +2

      Yes it is. Do you have the footsie bath? I keep the temp on the highest setting and let my clients know they need to move their feet around to avoid getting burnt from the footsie bath.

    Did people abuse massage chair privileges? That sounds silly but do you know what I mean? I see your sign that says it's just for pedicure clients, can you tell me your reasons? I'm going to order this thing in the next couple days and this is interesting. Thanks!

    • @Becab_
      @Becab_  3 года назад +14

      Yes. Because my space is semi Private, the clients of others in this building were using it as a waiting area. One day I came in greeted a woman, she didn’t say anything (while sitting in the chair) so when I asked her to move to the waiting area she told me no that she will move when my client arrives. So of course I told her to move any way. THAT SAME DAY a young lady walked in and sat right in the chair. Didn’t say anything! Just sat in my chair. I wouldn’t mind if I wasn’t paying rent but dang people can be rude

    • @Becab_

      The removal process is time consuming! I don’t like to file it completely off because I don’t have a dust collector and also don’t want to compromise the natural nail plate. Having to let the polish soak off adds so much time to pedis

    How did you go about getting a studio? Was it expensive? Do you have to have clientele before you can get a studio?

    • @Becab_
      @Becab_  3 года назад +3

      My wax lady just so happened to have an available space. I do believe that if you are going to be in your Space alone that state board has to come and do like an inspection of some kind? But I’m not sure. & I highly recommend having some clientele unless you have a job that helps you be able to afford a space before you gain clientele

      @@Becab_ 💙thank you for your reply! Is it expensive, like how much would it cost a month? Or would you recommend starting out on commission?

    • @Becab_
      @Becab_  3 года назад +2

      Depends on where you go. I’ve never worked on commission so I can’t really suggest or recommend. I went straight from school to this space. The only thing I can suggest is to test the waters with different options (if possible)

    I do fine that the footsie bath is to small! I won’t be able to use it if I have a male client coming in for a pedicure which is a waste of money! It fits a size 8 woman and that’s it!
