So, considering the fact that I have already reviewed this figure before, I don’t really have much to say about this SH Figuarts Dragon Ball Z SS Armored Trunks Reissue. The figure is aesthetically pleasing and comes with a fair amount of accessories for the price points, but again if you have the original release, then they’re truly isn’t any reason to get your hands on this one. It’s OK at best and it doesn’t really offer anything spectacular. I would say that Collector would be fine. Passing on this release if you already have the original. That being said, he is cheap and will look really good on your display shelf. It’s up to you whether you want to get your hands on him or not. I don’t see this one soaring in price anytime soon, so I would say pick him up at your own leisure if you decide to do so. I got the original for a good buddy of mine but never went to get another copy. When they announced this version I knew I had to get it to match the newest Vegeta. Personally I like the shiny golden hair. The colors pop and the articulation seems improved with the hip snap issues.
I appreciate the cheaper price with better paint apps.

I still like this trunks for what it is in general, but I do wish they could've made at least a few changes to the body to help the articulation in some places. Thanks once again for another great review Ace.
I totally agree with you on that one. Fixing the ankles alone would’ve been enough for me.
Definitely makes me like this figure alot more than previous Armor Trunks because of the faces, just annoying that he didn't came with the Base like it's previous counterpart.
He’s way cheaper that’s why he didn’t get the base head

Demonical fit came out with a head kit for him coming with SSJ hair + white eyes angry face from when he fought cell and a really nice looking base form

I do not think Vegeta is too big, I think Trunks is too small, especially next to the boy from the future version.
Vegeta is definitely too big. He looks too tall compared to every other character, not only Trunks.
I’m waiting for the akaza & bftf trunks re releases, that revoltech agent venom is gonna go crazyyyyy too
Hoping that new Super Saiyan goku has this same shiny hair it looks really nice and it would look nice for him to actually fit in with trunks and Vegeta
The body is basically a scale up version of Ssiyan armor Vegeta. At this point, it feels like they are just rereleasing them before the upgrade to the new body type.
I'm guessing they plan to release a new version of Trunks with the long hair base form, that's why they omit the head from this.
Hopefully they do. I would totally be looking forward to that release.

it's a general release so you'll be able to find it anywhere
8:37 the younger trunks is taller, none of the SS hair is the same yellow except for the reissued vegeta and trunks. wtf is bandai doing with this line, it’s not even consistent with itself

it's got better paint, is cheaper, and is more widely available compared to the original, it's pretty easy to understand why if you think about it for more than 5 seconds
@@dankerbell but why they are making cheap figs on this type of figure this glossy finish ssj is really a mess and the expression are really weird compare to the original and the fact that he don’t have a power down head is a let down because none other trunks has this type of head
