Hey man, just wanted to say thanks for helping me kickstart my guitar journey. Back in summer I had my dad’s old acoustic sitting in my room, not knowing how to play it. Figured I ought to get a headstart on learning before I started taking guitar class at my school, so I popped open RUclips and looked for some guitar basics videos. I found yours, and absolutely loved it! I watched a bunch more of your videos and that whole experience really got me hooked on learning to play. 4 months later, I’m riffing on a new Strat and speeding down the fretboard. Crazy how far I’ve come, thanks for helping me do that!
Funny thing Les Paul said: He was heavily involved in designing the Les Paul. Ted McCarty said: He was barely involved and they already made Prototypes that looked very similar to the final design, before approaching Les Paul.

@@adaptercrash I think you’re thinking more a barre chord or maybe variations of a power chord, but the power chord is definitively two notes. Root, fifth, and then the octave of the root (same note).

Pick-ups create the signal, cable transmits it. Sound only starts with the speaker.

It can have 3, even 4 and a triad is a chord without the 5th. Your selling yourself short.
