I'm particularly proud of how Ibrahim has quickly adopted the standards set by Eric with a CK. His understanding of Volvo is on another level. Carnversation is that channel that always give us that alluring understanding of vehicles😂. Big up gentlemen.
Wokabi today you have let your protege shine, much respect to you! Congratulations! This partnership may end up like Jeremy, James and Hammond of TOP GEAR.
Fantastic review! The showdown between the 2018 Subaru Forester and the new Volvo XC60 was thoroughly insightful. Both SUVs have their unique strengths, making the decision between rugged practicality and luxurious refinement a tough one.
I like that wokabi didn't take the superior car this time. Ibra amejipiga kifua this episode haha. Wokabi na smile ya ku force. But it's all in good humor, great work gentlemen, the consistency and production value keeps increasing with every episode. We notice this, the top gear of africa
Well well Today @ibrahim did his homework to the core and leo wokabi is only left to pronounce the SJ to Sk. indeed its a channel that digestify the car from exterior to interior and boom u become a carnvasologist. Big up Gentlemen today its well done. Improvement each day
Kaazi safi, lakini you could have gotten a fairer unit for Subaru to compare with maybe the new CRV Volvo is a top shelf car bana it compares to the GLC and The new Q5
Excellent work. I'd go for the Forester🥳💯 but Volvo looks nice; more impressive and luxurious. Kindly elaborate more on the design languages; solid-X, Cordial, DNA.....
The Volvo has Park Assist; it can practically parallel park itself while the driver controls throttle input and that alone is worth at least Kes 1M for all those who can't parallel park to save their lives. The XC40 is closer in price to the Forester, and that has Park Assist too and the 8-speed Aisin transmission. There is already an XC40 in the country, but it costs just about the same as the XC60 since it is a 2020 model. The prices don't make sense largely due to out tax regime. Both are however excellent cars!
Isn't it cheaper to learn how to park? 😁 I have park assist and I've only used it 3-4times to test it, otherwise it is a gimmick to me. Not bashing on it, just preference. I would disagree on it being worth 1m, in my mind if it was worth that much wife would use it....and she doesn't either 😆
@Pkari It's cheaper not to have a car at all and to take the bus. Park Assist is not a gimmick. It works fairly well when parking spots are well marked. Sure, you don't need to use it, but it's there. The pilot assist also works pretty well on marked roads. Volvo is closer to autonomous driving than Subaru is. It costs a lot to develop those systems and to have lawyers on retainer should they not work as claimed.
@@davidnjuguna9477 TLDR: it’s (my view) not worth 1M because sooo many new cars have it now…meaning the 2nd hand market in Kenya will get flooded with cars that have this feature sooner rather than later…supply demand logic on paying so much for it. Practically: the problem I find is that one often needs park assist the most where markings are poor and slots are tight. In almost all cars (maybe save Tesla) it tends to give up in such spots, just when I want it to ensure that the rims and bumpers don’t get scuffed. I spend a lot of time in dense cities and it annoy me when it “hands back control to driver”. Where markings are great I’m anyway going to park faster than it most systems especially given a modern reversing camera and sensors - hence the gimmick feeling. You have challenged me to test it more often and I will :)
@@davidnjuguna9477 Pilot assist (and equivalents in other cars) is awesome on long motorway trips, here much less of gimmicking across manufacturers. The most useful part of this set of automations is adaptive cruise control by far. Kenya lacks the markings and driver discipline in Kenya to fully enjoy the car taking over (see Thika RD lane indiscipline) but still nice to have. I’ll always happily pay more for that. Polestar has an amazing system and by extension Volvo products, personally I would wait a bit longer for the updated versions to hit Kenyan lots before making a big splurge.
Great analysis, Erick, I have a Mark X 2008 extra, I am planning to get a better car with AWD, SUV, and performs well esoecially in speed just like this Mark X. My budget is below 1.5m. Please advise me what model or make I need to consider. Thanks and have a blessed Sunday.
Twice in December nimepatana na Subaru Forester SJG XT nikiwa Volvo XC60 R design.Let me tell you Maina, ile mwondoko tumepelekana kutoka Narok hadi Bomet, alafu kurudi Nai kutoka Narok hadi Maai Mahiu. The XT also got wheels, we were chewing those hills za Ntulele with crazy speeds.
Why don't you guys do the way you were doing before. Review one car at a time. These comparisons huwa hazigive, juu most of the time we have already have a 'clear winner'
Dear Ibrahim, the people buying Prado are going for the Toyota reliability, whereby its known to be UN-beatable...and I think volvo cant match that...Good review but I`ll go for Subaru, save 2M and can buy a Toyota car for daily driving..."My Opinion."
Leo Wokabi is so humble😂😂
I'm particularly proud of how Ibrahim has quickly adopted the standards set by Eric with a CK. His understanding of Volvo is on another level. Carnversation is that channel that always give us that alluring understanding of vehicles😂. Big up gentlemen.

Ibra has done a pretty good job today...he did his homework well .....that Subaru is a looker , the Volvo can perform no doubt....
The enticement from volvo was just chilling 😂❤ going for it now ❤❤

The volvo has less road noise today am with Ibrahim @Kenito wa Qatar 🇶🇦 signing in like a champ 💪

Many thanks for the review between the two cars and it makes making a decision by the buyer easier...Please keep it up
I wouldn't lie, I love the intro but can't forget that wokabi lied about the 0-100 of his subaru, it's 11.8 not 10.8😂😂😂
Volvo. It's on its own level. Both are very capable cars.
Ibada leo imependeza, sermon imeshika na ndio utamu wa carnisa
Seeing how the reviews have grown, do you mind including a segment on ownership cost(maintenance & all)
The Swedish machine carries the day without a doubt
Volvo mpaka mwisho

Twice in December nimepatana na Subaru Forester SJG XT nikiwa Volvo XC60 R design.Let me tell you Maina, ile mwondoko tumepelekana kutoka Narok hadi Bomet, alafu kurudi Nai kutoka Narok hadi Maai Mahiu. The XT also got wheels, we were chewing those hills za Ntulele with crazy speeds.
Don't compare a Subie to a Volvo. The Volvo driver angekuwa ameiva hungemwona.
He was in the Volvo.
@@wilsonondeko1443 When you have your entire family in the car, you drive defensively.
Men die alone😂😂

A comparison between Volvo XC60, Volkswagen Tiguan and the Audi SQ5 should be in the works
I will still go for mitsubishi outlander
Why don't you guys do the way you were doing before.
Review one car at a time.
These comparisons huwa hazigive, juu most of the time we have already have a 'clear winner'
Kwanza... Hii njia inaelekea wapi.. Huku niwapi
For this one, I'll still stick with the Subaru.Even though, I am not familiar with Volvos and the reliability of these cars.
Big up the conversations ..

You can only compare Volvo X60 with Subaru outback where they belong in the same segment. Raised wagon cross overs
