MSC Meraviglia Vacation 2023

MSC Meraviglia 8-night cruise out of Brooklyn NYC. Ports of call were Miami, Ocean Cay private island and Nassau Bahamas.
We loved the ship, the itinerary, and the full day at the ports of call did not make us feel rushed.
On the down side, I agree with a lot of the reviews that the buffet food needs improvement. Personally, I found a lot of the daily meats to be tough or chewy. The daily fresh fruit salad (thinly sliced) was my only choice to get a taste of pineapples. Although on the last day, they brought out pineapples (separate and in chunks).
Overall, you really get what you pay for. We made up for it with the specialty dining Kato Sushi. I can go for their rolls and soups every day.
Lastly, the best part are the cruise workers that work these cruise ships. Their energy, vibe and friendliness really made up a big part of our vacation!
