Hi there ! I watched your vlogs a few months back and asked about the pool waiting service, cos we'd never done MSC. Just got back from the MERAVILIGIA and I can honestly say, we had a MARVELLOUS TIME ! So good , that we've booked 3 more MSC cruises! Apparently, before MERAVILIGIA came to NYC, Head office in Geneva sent a team to sort out the problems guests were encountering and boy, could you tell they've got it sorted now! We've done 20 cruises with other lines and so we're experienced cruisers.

Great video guys. I watched it to get some insight as to what to expect from the Meraviglia. I'm in the NY area so I look forward to seeing what the MSC Meraviglia has to offer. Hard to believe you guys have been on about 25 or more cruises and haven't gone on an Oasis Class RC ships yet to the point of this video. I was actually on the Harmony of the Seas last year and along with the other Oasis class ships, nothing else in the cruise industry has topped them yet in my opinion, so the MSC has a lot to live up to. Thank you for the helpful tips for cruising the Meraviglia like going to the back of the buffet and checking out the House of Whodini rather than Rock Circus. The Meraviglia certainly looks nice from videos and pictures I've seen, but I look forward to experiencing it in person.

I've sailed on the MSC Divina 3x in 2022. Buffet and guest service was lacking. In the buffet, there would be no spoons or bowls. and not for a few minutes. I'm talking for the duration of my meal. For some reason, people congregated in the front for the buffet. And it wasn't like people couldn't see all that space in the back. I walked off the ship believing people are inherently lazy. Most times I used guest services, I was frustrated. Often getting that dead stare, for example, as a Gold member your entitled to small gifts. I went down to collect it, and they looked at each other as if they never heard of it.
Yes!! It was pretty frustrating. Hopefully it will improve!
I've noticed from Vloggs about MSC Meraviligia that 3 or4 day itenaries are chaotic. It's also as if MSC have less servers, so people end up consuming lesss (booze, food, etc)..Looks like they're not doing sunbed service so we don't drink our moneys worth...It's all a plot to save. It's weird, because I have friends who went on the Seascape and she said bar services were fine and there was sunbed waiters.
P-S Áurea is pronounced "Ow Ray Ah" in Italian.

I mentioned this before, but unfortunately cruises that leave the USA for the carribean for instance are full of people who over drink. I'm actually glad they have slow service and will cut down on the drunks and rude passengers. If MSC isn't careful they'll turn into a Carnival ship full of drunks and beligerent people. Especially those short cruises that are only $300-$500 cruises with free drinks. I truly wish that MSC did away with their included drink packages, which would solve part of the problem.
Hi, what do you suggest on what type of internet package to purchase? If I wish to be able to check my home security cam, will "browse only package" be enough? Do yoo know if I'm able to go on Facebook and play RUclips videos , or do I need to purchase the one with streaming option which is the of course the pricey one.
Liked your feedback. We are seasoned cruisers. 40+. Been on Carnival, Norwegian, Royal, Costa. I do not feel you were negative. Your just stating you have to maneuverer around. You will experience sometimes that guest services is sometimes very frustrating when your trying to explain something (like the chocolate and pillow menu) Will be taking the Meraviglia out of NY. in August. I went on Meraviglia in January 2020(about 2 weeks before Pandemic) and it was about 50/50 on service. The one's who were great were absolutely wonderful...the one's that weren't had no business being anywhere near guests. Rude, standoffish, inconsistent...It was such a beautiful ship and I loved my time on the ship, but service issues go back a few years
Our assessment was about the same! I'm hearing that the tides are turning a bit, and the ship Service is getting better! We can't wait to go again and see for ourselves!

Because we already chose a room? I am confused. Also the drinks inside of that little fridge in our room do we have to pay extra? This is our first time on any cruise ships. Thanks in advance!🙏😊
So, the packages (Bella, Fantastica, etc.) are selected at the time of booking. If you booked through a travel agent, they can tell you what experience you have booked & may be able to upgrade you if need be.
Yacht club is almost like the NCL Studio Lounge/Cabin
The problem in my opinion is it's a USA docked ship. I've been on MSC cruises in the middle-east for instance, and it's nothing like the ones leaving the USA. And also those other MSC ships are filled with primarily international passengers who have a bit more class than ones in the US. This may sound harsh, but it's just true unfortunately. They aren't booze cruises for instance.
I have a cruise booked on MSC leaving NYC later this year only so I can keep my voyager status. I expect it to be very bad, but it's ok because I know what I'm getting into.

Why didn't you ask the cabin attendant about your chocolates and wine, and not go to guest services? If the juice or soda is not serviced the buffet matre'd should be told.
On our first sailing with MSC, our room steward was fantastic. This sailing, not so much. :/ We saw her one time & then never again, so we didn't have the opportunity to ask, which is why we went to guest services. The maitre d' was well aware of the juice outages. It has been a commonly occurring problem on this particular ship, unfortunately. Have you sailed with MSC? We'd love to get your feedback!
