GTRE reduced Kaveri weight significantly from 1400kgs to 1235kgs and now 1180kgs so you can expect further development here. And definitely this kaveri isn't going to make TEDBF tonne heavy or going to increase the thrust requirement due to weight 😺, the weight was an issue in past specially for LCA due to its size and need to achieve
@unknown_5107 GEF414 produces 98KN thrust with that weight. Kaveri at max will produce 80KN with its current weight which is still very low in terms of TW ratio.
@@newworld2086 The required thrust for 26 tonn TEDBF isn't more than 2*85kns, TEDBF can have exact same thrust to weight ratio as Rafale M using any 80KN engine, considering foreign hardware because it's 70kg lighter isn't good thing to do, and the number 1180kgs is for present kaveri they'll make it even lighter. Making TEDBF 28-30 Tonnes heavy is the only scenario where they can utilise 98kn f414 . Relying on usa for engines isn't good at all *indigenous things must be considered even if it's slightly inferior.

So, these 17 Tejas are, shall we say, just "a bit of a letdown"-kinda like glorified scrap.
Now, let’s talk about the *real* combat-ready Tejas: The 16 Mark 1s delivered in IOC standard-those can’t even fire BVR missiles or refuel in the air. *Kachra* (garbage), anyone?
And as for the Tejas Trainer, they’ve only delivered one since October 2023. Just one! The *crown jewel* of Tejas: the Mark 1A. The first LSP was rolled out in 2022, meant to be a *Flying Testbed*-not exactly ready for any actual combat missions. The second LSP, rolled out in late 2022, is still tweaking weight distribution to make the thing *a bit lighter*.
So where’s the fighter, really? This whole Tejas saga seems more like an ongoing science project than an actual fleet of combat aircraft.
Defence community is so desperate for indigenous jet engine..hope to see it before 2030
Bhaiya mene har jagah dhekha per mujhe dry kaveri ka high altitude thrust 48.5 kn he dikhta hai 51 kn nahi aisa kyu 🤔🤔🤔
Can you make a video on PFX ?
We are using 2 of these on Ghatak, right?
As of now yes dry version
@Rishabh-ty3gr I heard the prototype will rollout in 2025, I can wait ig
Jai Hind
Ye engine russia ke al31 ke basis par banana chahye so that ye 120kn ka thrust generate kre
What about Kaveri with Ghatak UCAV?2
Why dry thrust is only 51 just make it 120 , with thrust vectoring make it 180 newton...focus on big picture
Aero India mein wahi dummy model dekhenge jinka reality se koi lena dena nahi hai😂😂😂 amca aur tejas MK2 bhi
Hybrid engine is the answer to these design.instead of time wasting activities.
😂😂now we have latest design GLASS bottles for this ACCHAR 😂😂😂
😂😂😂CHINA SIR PAR KHADDA HAY AND NAK 👃 SAY PAKORAA TALLA JAA RAHAA HAY
Pakistan ideas 2024 par ek detailed video banaiye sir 🙏
Jab dry varient ka thrust 51kn tak aa gya hai jo m88 or f404 ke barabar hai to fund deke afterburner ke number ko bhi easily achieve kiya ja sakta hai
Aisa lagta hai india me koi bhi milkar kaam karna janta hi nahi iaf ho ya HAL ya fir drdo.. inko ek dusre ki property use karne me problem nahi honi chahiye lekin usme bhi itna time lagta hai jisme kimti time barbad ho jata hai or bharat piche hota jata hai
World chess championship dekh raha hu, jab v kuch live dekhta hu humesa apni side harti h, kabhi kabhi lgta h ki kahi m hi to panouti to nhi hu. 7 saal se defence follow krra hu or delay pe delay hora h kahi ye v to mere vajah se nhi
Why does HAL not maintain a test bed with spare aircraft?
Expected completion date for Kaveri is 2044 :P

M toh k raha yr jaldi se bana do engine kese bhi banao
Main to govt ko yahi salah dunga ki govt IAF ko band karke IAF ke sare staff ko jobs se hata de aur America ya russia jaise deshon se contract karke apne airbases aur desh ki hawai suraksha ki jimmedari unhe sounp de
