Maybe the best offense I’ve ever seen. Incredible! Short pass game/big play pass game. Physical ground and pound run game/big play run game. Blowout/comebacks/score fast/grind out time consuming drives. That did it ALL.
I was fortunate to see two of their games in person that year, at Temple and vs Rutgers. They were like a machine on offense. An incredible season for sure!
I know I promised this upload a while back and you've been waiting for it. Glad that you finally get to enjoy it. I saw PSU play that year at Temple and vs Rutgers so I can proudly say that I saw them in person. A terrific team for sure. One of the all-time best!
My senior year up there .. magical season .. was at every home game .. we stormed beaver stadium after both the Michigan game and the Illinois game .. they eventually just gave the students the goal post
Great to hear the legendary Harry Kalas! PSU deserved at least a split of the 1994 national title. The reality is the media and coaching fraternity wanted Osborne to finally claim his "long deserved" national title. The same social force worked against Notre Dame the prior year with Florida State. From the start of the 1993 sea, the narrative stated it was "Bobby's Year". Had the Seminoles won the 1991 or 1992 title I think 1993 is a split.
Yes, Harry Kalas doing any sport always added to it. And unfortunately, your other points about agendas being a problem in college athletics certainly rings true.
My dad had this VHS and I watched it all the time when I was a kid. Thank you for uploading this.
My brother somehow found that vhs tape in Utah of all places. Didn't know they were undefeated that year. Where was their national championship?
@@hggfhh4449They gave it to Nebraska that year.
Same here! Watched this many times in the 90s.

Had the pleasure of attending the Senior Day matchup between PSU and MSU. Really an electric crowd. Probably the best PSU offense team of all time.
my 1994 national champions! we should’ve gotten a share of the title considering the Bowl Coalition didn’t include the Big 10 and Pac 10
