- In this video, I take you guys through my journey from a serious injury to getting back on my feet and flipping around with performer and stuntman Chris Silcox (one of the stunt doubles for Tom Holland in Spider-Man Homecoming). Chris taught me how to flip and pose like Spider-Man which gave me the confidence to do all of the tricks the famous webhead does.

Hey Spideyfit. I know what it’s like coming back from an injury like that. In February 2019 I ruptured my PCL (posterior cruciate ligament) and wasn’t able to do any physical activity for around 5 months only really getting back into it after 6. I was so scared of hurting myself doing flips again that I shut it out for a while. But I’m proud that I’m not the only one that had to come back for something like that. Love your work and videos.

This is awesome man I love the video.
I broke my collarbone about 2 years ago in a parkour accident and it took me a couple months to get all my flips back. So I understand the pain of being scared and thinking about the injury a lot.
I can't wait to see your progression with your flips.

I'm actually injured on my knee, I have Osgood Schlatter, but I still play games like basketball and soccer. This video has helped me realise even though I'm injured I can still go on. Thanks 1Mill🙂

I was thinking that Tom Holland didn't need a stunt double
We save time really. There are some things there's not time for, being on multiple units filming, rehearsing for something particularly dangerous before we let the actor try it. A lot of other reasons. Even Jackie Chan and Jason Statham all have stunt doubles.

When I go out as Spidey, I don't use gloves because they loosen my grip.
Awesome video man! 😀😀 It's super inspiring! The one thing i can't do tho is that side flip. For some reason i just don't know how to throw my body into a sideways direction. Is there any particular technique u used to practice it?
Great question! I used a tall box to roll on my shoulders and upper back going sideways. Then I did it on a foam pit over the box, and finally without the box
