You only want to heat the valve guide area not the whole head. You probably cooked the other valve guides seal and expanded that area as well in the process.

At 250 thats not far from abnormal temps while running the whole head would see anyways. Its fine the way he did it.
What angle valve seat cutter(s) do you use to cut the seats?
Hi - Use Neway Cutters out of Michigan. Honda 3 angles are 45, 32, 60. Give them a call and they can get you the right cutters and kit.
