Welsh rarebit with a very pungent Welsh cheese. Lemon "meringue" pie, but the meringue is salty. It can be done, my grandma did by mistake. The meringue was a bit dry. "Hot fudge" sundae, but one has a marmite fudge. "Tree"cle tart. Make one with pine needle syrup. Chocolate "truffles" one has black truffle ganache in it. "Cherry" parfaits one is made with chicken livers.
Sorted is consistently brilliant on RUclips. Always trying new formats and games, all the while being extremely entertaining AND informative. Bravo chaps, bravo 👏🏼
I like this format, but I also really liked the old one for different reasons - this one has the fun of the guessing game and more interaction, but we miss out on seeing everyone else try it like they did in the original. I wish they could just both continue as different shows - this one is more of a roulette!

I also started watching this channel when Big Night In was going on, and I also miss it. Wish they would bring it back, maybe once ever 3 months or so? I know their lives are different so they couldn't do it exactly as before, but they could do some version, maybe include family and/or friends?

Idea for a future challenge: Red velvet cupcakes where one is baked with an inordinate amount of various dried red chilis, such a chipotle powder, cayenne, gochugaru. Also, lemon merengue tarts where one is super sour thanks to the addition of malic acid - the stuff they use to coat Sour Patch Kids.

My favorite thing about this new format is watching everyone laugh and have a great time together. :) For future pun titles: duck con-feet (made with duck or chicken feet), spice cream, and cranberry stuffins (muffins packed with unsweetened, plain cranberries)

This format is so much better, do something with beetroot but call the dish bitteroot, I remember you used something to make a dish bitter in a previous pokerface but can't remember what it was.

I got 4/4 mostly because Kush (and to a lesser extent the rest) has a strong tell. The second he bites into something, when he realizes he isn't the one he immediately starts trying to figure out who it is by leaning in and staring at people. I noticed it on the last one.

Yep, this is definitely the right format for this! So much better than the old one! As for ideas for more... Hmm... muffins, 4 topped with coarse sugar crystals, 1 with salt... if it works. It might not. Alternatively, donuts, 4 dusted with caster sugar, 1 with fine popcorn salt. Hmm, and inside, maybe crème anglaise, with sugar substituted for salt in the one coated in popcorn salt. Heh, and since I thought of _that..._ if the muffins work, sub sugar for salt in the batter as well, because why not? Let's see... Stuffed courgette blossoms, 4 with a nice ricotta as usual, and the fifth with a good strong creamy horseradish, maybe thickened with gelatin or xanthan gum to match the texture better. Individual mini-pizzas (Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Mushrooms, Onion, Green Pepper, classic American "supreme"), 4 with normal pizza sauce, and one with strawberry preserves. Cuban sandwich sliders, 4 made with the usual ingredients... nice mojo pork, black forest ham, swiss/gruyere, dill pickles, and a generous swath of yellow deli mustard mayo. The fifth will have the same meats... but the cheese should be horseradish cheese, the pickles the hottest ones you can find (capsaicin or mustard/horseradish spice, either one is fine), and the sauce? The hottest Chinese hot mustard you can find, slathered on nice and thick.
The hash brown bluff was the greatest bluff Mike has ever pulled, which is faint praise, because it's the first time he's pulled off any kind of bluff, ever.
I love the new format! Scoring idea. The one who gets the nasty dish gets one point for each person they fool while they still get one point for correctly guessing the person with the nasty dish.
