Incredible live experience! Saw her twice in Stockholm and I can clearly say, her voice is EVEN better LIVE! It's incredible regardless of whether it's a kulning or English folk music.
Madame, votre chant est très joli car on y sent de l'humilité et votre voix n'est pas étouffée par les musiciens qui auraient envie de balancer.Bravo! un fiddler alsacien j'aime beaucoup!(merci aux traducteurs) Pierre
Amazing song and singer. As I understand from the lyrics (both original in Norwegian and English translation), the song is about parting of a loving couple and inability to return to the relationship. I wonder what is the meaning a "box and pipe" (norsk: "dåsin og pipa") which are being destroyed by each of lovers? Can it be a kind of engagement symbol in the traditional Norwegian culture that is being destroyed on breakup?
Jenta ho gjekk seg oppå ei hø, står oppå ein stein å tuta ”Fæ´ ikkje at guten eg hadde i fjol”, slæ sundt både dåsin og pipa ”Blanke dåsin messing pipa, fæ´kje guten som eg lika”, slæ sunt både dåsin og pipa Vessle Ola Finndal kom att i år, står oppå ein stein å stuta ”Fæ´ ikkje at jenta eg hadde i fjol”, slæ sundt både dåsin og pipa ”Blanke dåsin messing pipa, fæ´kje jenta som eg lika”, slæ sunt både dåsin og pipa English: The girl went up on the hill, stood on a rock and sobbed I can't have the boy I had last year”, she destroys both the box and the pipe Shiny box and pipe of brass, I can't have the boy I like. She destroys both the box and the pipe The little Ola Finndal came back this year, he stands on a rock pouting I can't have (her back) the girl he had last year” He destroys both the box and the pipe Shiny box and pipe of brass, can't have the girl I like, he destroys both the box and the pipe
@@gaborharangi1369 I think one need to set things in their right proportions, i had the same taughts as You and i worked with the brown ones, but there are a lot of daily things that are potentialy dangerous, like inhale car exhausts, dust from various items, or even just sitting on an office chair to much... As long as it's kept on a reasonable level i think the body will take care of it or at least encapsule pontentialy dangerous things, it's probably different if the body is exposed to dangerous stuff ower time, like inhaling led dust 8 hours a day on a car factory or working in the aluminium smelter factory without any respiration protective, etc compared to using grandmothers aluminium kettle on the stove or biting the led weights on to a fishing hook, the later is such a small amonth that it does not realy matter, but the first oned may be deadly. Only think i know about except for the cromium factory where that had not heppened if they just had used proper respiratory and eye protection and had used a properly suited room with epoxied floor and walls and a proper exhaust fand with a filter instad of an old sawmill from the 19th century, with wooden roof and uncovered old murky brickwalls... Is s a few guys wich worked with welding Zinc details on a professional job, year after year on old oxidised zink dipped trailer equipment without using proper respiratory protective. (i hawe welded zink pipes my self and they gave me a terrible headace but it stays there if it just a few times and not day after day as i heard) I think my own beginning lung problems are not related to the welding jobs but to inhaling zilica carbide on almost daily basis from the grinders when i worked on the old axe factory without any protection at all, i was young and wanted to get the jobs done fast in order to impress the boss there, but that was an extremly stupid thing to do, but that's how people did back in the day s here... Despite those old warning signs. I know zilica carbide and rock dust is harmful to the lungs ower time because the body can not get rid of it. But it does not seem to happen anything more now since i started o use proper dustfilters and a serious dustmask instead of nothing... Even a sheap "coffefilter" are better than nothing.
@@sheep1ewe Yes you're absolutly right.
