I liked in s7 how Willow is softer towards Faith. After what she did in the previous season, it's like Willow finally understands Faith a little more, and how you can take a wrong turn down a dark path you didn't intend on turning on to
I love how they incorporated Dawn as part of Faith’s life as if she already knew her. I mean that’s the obvious since the monk turned her human; it’s automatic everyone knew her.
@@larajimena2235 The Angelus thing doesn't make a great deal of sense to be fair. He was brought back specifically *because* mind bending mojo hadn't affected him due to his persona being dormant. Next thing we know, he knows who Dawn is in the same arc. Not a big deal, just something I've thought about a little too much.
Or a Faith movie. Have her as an action hero-- a billionaire industrialist is plotting to use demons to take over the world, and Faith has to stop him. Something like that.
For some reason she picked a short lived series Thursday Nights on FOX (which was canceling everything at this time) called Tru Calling. It got like 1 1/2 seasons before being canned & by then WB had decided to cancel Angel (which was kind of expensive show for them because FOX made it) so there was nothing to go back to.
I love buffy when I was younger but being older now faith is one of my favorites. Growing up without love and than having to take responsibility overs younger slayers really shows her George growth.
Let's be real. They screwed Faith. She was THE Slayer. She was the last to be called so that makes her it. Buffy just happens to still be alive. I hate the convo that littles have about who would be called next if Buffy died. NO ONE. No one gets called if she dies. Only when Faith dies is when a new Slayer is actually called.
@@TRivera13 Yeah, if I remember correctly, they even explain it. Buffy died, Kendra was called. Kendra died, Faith was called. Buffy was the anomaly. Further amplified when she died again, there was not another Slayer called. Worked out for humans though!
@@kenohki3492When Buffy died in S5, no new Slayer was called. But if she were to die in S7, a new Slayer would be called, because resurrecting Buffy reinserted her into the active Slayer line. That's what made the line unstable enough for the First to attack.
It was explained that resurrecting buffy disrupted the slayer line and caused an imbalance giving the first the opportunity to end the line all together.. so either one or likely both were "active" slayers
As I understand it, when Buffy died the first time, the line of succession passed to Kendra and then to Faith. A new slayer wouldn't be called until Faith dies. That Buffy is still alive is an anomaly.
It makes you feel for Faith. Buffy is the golden child. Faith just gets kicked to the kirb. That's why I like her. She has all the same powers, but feels like an outsider.
I love the rage Faith fights with when she thinks Buffy might be about to die. She'd spent all that time taking from Buffy. It had been Buffy she'd felt the most guilt over when she was in Angel's basement following her breakdown. So once they'd finally more or less made amends, Buffy has to go and get herself badly injured. Faith's one of the best characters. Love her.
I love that Buffy gets in that little punch for old times sake & all that bad history and Faith just plays it off with the joke "Good thing you still Punch like you used to" Lol. I love Faith.
Love this video! So well made and just perfect. If you're still taking requests I'd love a Buffy Faith video i have a couple ideas. Maybe you could pick one. My chemical romance " the world is ugly" or Linkin Park "My December". God, I'd so appreciate it.❤❤❤
well, in season 4 you could already see some remources, especially when she went into the church to save the people instead of flying to LA in Buffys body.
The both great at their acting. Shes comes off as into women but in real life shes into men. He comes off as liking women, but in real life dates men. Lol
Something ive wonered. When a slayer dies another is called. So when buffy died breifly kendra was called. Then when kendra died faith was called. But called by who? Were the council contacted by giles? Or wesley? Or do they have a device or seer that informs the council when another slayer is needed? And how do they choose which one?
It was completely random until Willow activated them all. Any one of the "Potentials" that were in Season 7 could've been the next Slayer if Faith had died before Willow's spell. Or it could've been someone else on the other side of the world. What I don't know is how the Watcher's Council found and tracked Potentials. Remember Kendra said she was raised by her Watcher. Training in the ways of the Slayer in the event she was called. And how Potential Slayers were told to go to Sunnydale in S7. So clearly the Council knew how to find them. Maybe magic?
Dawn doesn't exist, in actuality. However, she is a key, sent to the Slayer by monks to be protected from Glorificus, or Glory. To ensure that she would protect it with her life, the monks made it a human girl, and made that girl the little sister of the Slayer. So, since the little sister was always supposed to be there, the monks created memories of her, and put them into the minds of the Slayer and everyone she knew/every ally she had. Since Faith spent Christmas the one time with Buffy, Dawn was there in the reality where she legitimately existed
Id say spike and harmony. I'm used of faith and robin being together. Spike don't like Faith for being 2 faced in touched I'm so glad he hit her. She had it coming, and they're not each other's types anyway. I really wanted faith and spike to date in the past cause of buffy and angel being together. But I think robin is good for faith, he's the only man that wants and like her, not spike. So that's why he's better of with harmony. And Lorne and illyria could date. Buffy and Angel belong together.
It could be because she has "memories" of seeing Dawn before. Dawn didn't exist until season 5 and everyone has memories of her always existing, because when the monks created her, they also created those memories with everyone always knowing Dawn, so Faith probably also "remembers" Dawn like everyone else does. That's my take on it.
Yes, that is correct. It was stated that the monks could mold/shape reality. So everyone in that "circle" remembers Dawn even before she was there. And she remembers them, even before she was there.
