My god, Aabria's brain is so beautiful, her choice of words is always so poignant and eloquent, listening to her talk clears my skin, heals my anxiety, and pays my bills!! Jeez, what's it like having a 2000 IQ score ❤❤❤
CLEARS MY SKIN 😂😂😂😂 I'm dying that's so funny
Caitlin Tyrrell-- I LOVE your actual-play interviews!!! You have a way with balancing your admiration as a genuine fan, with researched and specific discussion points that allow your interviewees to really showcase their work. Hopefully my comment will help to bring up this interview if someone searches your name, since neither the video title nor description credits you (and I think that's a shame)
Absolutely! Interviewers that can engage their subjects enthusiasms are priceless.
I looove Aabriaa~ and her brain, my gosh ❤
Loving Burrows End. Such a cool point about the transition of the books we read. Though makes me think about transitioning from Charlotte’s Web to Animal Farm in my schooling. I want more stories that are animal centric. 😭
Aabria is a brilliant human being! 🤩✨💖
She would be. If it wasn’t for the racism.
i appreciate her concept of the audience aa the final unseen member of the table
I need more A Court of Fay and Flowers please!
Aabria is an amazing story teller. I’m fully transfixed when she weaves her tales. The way she guides the players is so deft.
I also found D20 through Aabria! Saw her on Critical roll and then found her in "Pirates of the Leviathan" with Matt and Marisha. Followed her to see "Misfits and Magic" then just never left. Thank you Aabria for expanding the wonderful stories I get to enjoy.
It's so interesting to listen to people who read a lot as children talk about their experience with it. It never held my interested because I always preferred drawing in my quiet moments, but the insight is certainly something to consider.
Now that we're further in the series, that tiny overshare about "when a story becomes propaganda" is SO INTERESTING
What a great interview! You can feel the joy, passion and appreciation for the art form from you both.
Thank you Aabria for being one of my favorite and ground breaking DMs once again
AABRIA IS THE EPITOME!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
When she uses the term "comp," what does that mean? Is that an initialization like IP (intellectual property)? Or some other abbreviation?
I’m no expert so this could be totally wrong but I’m pretty sure it means composition just as an alternative word for something like story :)
Close! “Comp” is usually short for “comparison” in this context. It’s most often used in the writing world to easily describe a story or IP. For example, Game of Thrones would be a comp for Crown of Candy just like Watership Down and Rats of NIMH are comps for Burrow’s End. Hope that helps!
please make a better thumbnail why that mid speech screenshot i feel like you wouldn't do this with another GM
the Brennan thumbnails are also mid-speech but I do agree that if they're going to go through the effort to make a custom thumbnail they might as well take a few extra seconds to find a more flattering shot
I don’t think aabria realises how compelling her style is, every time she DMs i have to watch it wherever it is 🫡🫡🫡
