IDK if it was formal dress code for teachers, but female (XX chromosomes) wore dresses appropriate for an office, while male (XY Chromosomes) wore business suits, regardless of "orientation." Boys wore long trousers, collared shirts, and dress shoes. Girls wore dresses or blouses and skirts. (Nobody wore T-shirts, shorts, or even jeans---You'd get sent home).

I agree with you totally. I'm from a city nearby the school so I went to protest last week. To the best of my 1st hand knowledge there are no parents with kids in the school protesting. Same as in the USA, the Woke agenda is to take control out of the parents hands, which is another angle to the game of chicken.

Shop teachers are usually the smartest and most accomplished educators in the school. My shop teacher was also taught electronics and photography. He owned a photo studio and employed his daughter. They did all of the school photos and nearly everyone had their senior pictures done by them. Not to mention weddings, dances, etc... He did intricate carpentry jobs like building traditional wedding beds. Those went for $10k each. He spent his teachers salary on the underfunded programs and write it off on a 2106 tax form.
All the other teachers? They were just teachers. And alcoholics.
