It has Optical SPDIF out or 3 3.5mm jacks for surround on the back, you can see on the product page.

It has a slim bd-r drive inside so the max is 6x I believe, so technically it doesn't need 3.0. The 16x model has 3.0 but its a desktop sized drive so I guess they decided that people would choose form over function.
This would fit well in a Mac setup

You can get a 21.5 inch modern monitor for like 75$ !!!
CRTs have some benefits like ultra low response time and high refresh rates. Also he has 3 modern monitors. (If you didn't notice one of them is just for programs)
I specifically seek out CRTs to replace my LCDs. Been hunting a few specific ones all year, but found this one for free and am super happy with it.
Haven't made a big video about the PC monitors yet, but did make one addressing similar comments in regard to my big CRT TV in my game room

EposVox Same here but its kinda hard to get CRT monitors in Germany because they are either too expansive or too far away. I am so happy to have an Philips 42PW9551 as my main TV (CRT with an HDMI port) but I'm still seeking for a pc monitor to replace my 13' 1994 apple monitor.
