That’s a lot of injuries. Didn’t realize it was so many permanently out. I would think that might produce a lot of “home grown” depth for years to come… something to consider before you dump AP. Coach loyalty is bigger than we think; they’ll take less $$, they attain fan loyalty, and above all, it’s solid depth. However, it would sure help if Telesco would speak on his continued lack of faith in AOC, dumping JJ, his misjudgment (and why) on Minshew, and why he is essentially letting AP take all the blame? Telesco has the most experience and holds all the power, so (to me) he is the most accountable. We all knew what to expect from AP… what’s Telesco’s excuse? Has TT learned anything or will he remain alienated from the players, continue to miss read the soul of team, and most of all not respect AP’s intuition or insight? AP’s talent, I suspect, goes beyond managing timeouts. That doesn’t excuse work ethic or lack of being prepared. But will they all work together? I think if there was a generational quarterback available, then yes, reset the whole scene in some Tom Brady vision (or whatever) - but it doesn’t sound like that’s the case. So I say if trust can really come together with TT, AP, MD and others: go get good at what you are with what you got. Start with that, grow, evolve… good things will fall into place. But please, stop the merry-go-round of catastrophe and learn to trust each other to succeed. If AP and Telesco are allowed to grow, especially AP who has the most to learn, the chance for a championship team to emerge is solid.
